    (U) Sandia National Laboratories in collaboration with General Atomics (GA) has designed and built a high resolution, light-weight, Ku-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) known as ''Lynx''. Although Lynx can be operated on a wide variety of manned and unmanned platforms, its design is optimized for use on medium altitude Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVS). In particular, it can be operated on the Predator, I-GNAT, and Prowler II platforms manufactured by GA. (U) The radar production weight is less than 120 lb and operates within a 3 GHz band from 15.2 GHz to 18.2 GHz with a peak output power of 320 W. Operating range is resolution and mode dependent but can exceed 45 km in adverse weather (4 mm/hr rain). Lynx has operator selectable resolution and is capable of 0.1 m resolution in spotlight mode and 0.3 m resolution in strip map mode, over substantial depression angles (5 to 60 deg) and squint angles (broadside and ±45 deg).     Riau Province has a high threat to forest fire in peat soils, especially in industrial forest areas. The impact of fires will produce carbon (CO2) emissions in the atmosphere. The magnitude of carbon losses from the burning of peatlands can be estimated by knowing the characteristics of the fire peat and estimating CO2 emissions produced. The objectives of the study are to find out the characteristics of fire-burning peat, and to estimate carbon storage and CO2 emissions. The location of the research is in the area of industrial forest plantations located in Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The method used to measure peat carbon is the method of lost in ignation. The results showed that the research location has a peat depth of 600-800 cm which is considered very deep. The Peat fiber content ranges from 38 to 75, classified as hemic peat. The average bulk density was 0.253 gram cm-3 (0.087-0,896 gram cm-3). The soil ash content is 2.24% and the stored peat carbon stock with 8 meter peat thickness is 10723,69 ton ha-1. Forest fire was predicted to burn peat to a depth of 100 cm and produced CO2 emissions of 6,355,809 tons ha-1.

    Full Text Available The purpose of this work is to substantiate the parameters and modes of operation of the ultra-high-frequency plant for separating the down from the skins of rabbits in continuous mode. In connection with the goal, the following tasks are solved: to determine the required power of electromagnetic radiation to reduce the bacterial contamination of the raw material; to determine the critical intensity of the ultrahigh frequency electric field that ensures the destruction of microorganisms in the raw material; to agree on the magnitude of the electric field strength with its own quality, the volume of the resonator and the performance of the installation; to justify the configuration of the resonator, providing the critical electric field, high quality, radiopharmacist in the continuous mode of operation; to develop microwave installation, microwave technology implements the separation of disinfected feathers from skins of rabbits. In the work of the applied theory of the electromagnetic field of ultrahigh frequency (EFUF. The bactericidal effect of EFUF exposure was investigated according to the Lambert-booger law and the Sokolov V. F. method. The rationale for the critical electric field strength that ensures the destruction of microorganisms in raw materials, carried out by the method of Korchagin and the Development of a biconical resonator, enhancing radiation q-factor at heating the skins in continuous mode was carried out according to the method Drobinin O. Justified modes of operation of the microwave installation for decontamination and separation of fluff from the skins of rabbits in continuous mode at the critical electric field and high q-factor biconical resonator, providing radiopharmacist.     Full Text Available Problem setting. Understanding of criminalistic methods exceeded now the boundaries of traditional points of view - as a methods of crimes investigation. An attention is drawn to the fact that the process of proof in criminal proceedings is not completed with a pre-court investigation, on the contrary, it is being continued even more actively during the court hearing. In this regard a need for providing of subjects of court hearings of criminal cases (judges, prosecuting attorneys, defense lawyers with criminalistic methods is emphasized. At the same time the stated ideas have not been sufficiently developed in Ukrainian doctrine. Special papers devoted to particular criminalistic methods of court hearing of criminal cases are not present. This problem cannot be settled without preliminary solving of issues of more general theoretical meaning, especially, definition of essence and goals of particular criminalistic methods of court hearing in criminal proceedings.
