Full Text Available Inward foreign investment stock has grown remarkably in Belarus. It increased tenfold since 2000 to reach over $14 billion by the end of 2012. According to the Central Bank of Belarus, Finnish firms have invested nearly $100 million in Belarus making Finland the sixteenth most active foreign investor in the country. Approximately 7,000 companies with foreign capital were registered in Belarus by the beginning of 2013. Finnish companies founded three dozen of these foreign firms. A lack of scientific reports on the perception of foreign businesspeople in the Belarusian business environment necessitated an empirical study. This article studies the attitudes of the directors of Finnish firms operating in Belarus on the Belarusian business environment. In September-October 2013, the author conducted interviews with directors of 10 Finnish corporations. The PEST model was used to describe the perception of the Belarusian business milieu by Finnish businesspeople. The main empirical finding can be summarised by quoting a Finnish CEO, “Belarus is like any other market on the globe with the exception that foreign firms do not want to attract publicity about their activities in the country due to the poor public image of Belarus.”

Full Text Available In May 2014 it was aready ten years since Poland’s accession to the European Union. The accession was preceded by a long period of political action and negotiations between the Polish and the EU institutions. The process of integration was extremely complex. It covered almost all areas of economic, legal and civil aspects of the aspiring country’s economy, in which all necessary requirements had to be met. The aim of the article was to present the institutional framework created for efficient implementation of the process of accession. The considerations involved especially an institutional method. The research resulted in poining out both the actually efficient and less efficient bodies participating in the process of integration.

Выявить клинико-эпидемиологические особенности развития СД и туберкулеза легких при сочетанной патологии: возраст начала болезни; половой состав; соотношение городских и сельских жителей; распределение СД по степени тяжести; распределение туберкулеза по клиническим формам, бактериовыделению. Материалы и методы. Материалами исследования явились данные компьютерного полицевого регистра Республиканского противотуберкулезного диспансера на 11 702 вновь выявленных больных за 1999?2005 гг. и 143 истории болезни и амбулаторные карты больных Республиканского противотуберкулезного диспансера, туберкулезных больниц городов Буйнакска, Избербаша, Каспийска и Республиканского эндокринологического центра с сочетанием сахарного диабета и туберкулеза легких. Эти больные находились на учете в 2001?2006 гг. Для сравнения были использованы ранее опубликованные материалы по СД в Дагестане. Результаты. Из 143 больных СД и туберкулезом СД1 болели 18,88% (27 чел., СД 2 ? 81,12% (116 чел.. Среди больных СД2 в молодом возрасте заболели 25,00% (29 чел., в зрелом ? 52,59% (61 чел., в пожилом ? 21,55% (25 чел., в старческом ? 0,86% (1 чел.. Инфильтративный туберкулез был у 70,63% (101 чел., фиброзно-кавернозный ? у 11,19% (16 чел., очаговый ? у 5,60% (8 чел., диссеминированный ? у 4,19% (6 чел., туберкулома ? у 4,19% (6 чел., казеозная пневмония ? у 2,10% (3 чел., цирротический туберкулез ? у 1,40% (2 чел., туберкулезный плеврит ? у 0,70% (1 чел.. Выводы. Сочетание СД и туберкулеза характеризуется следующим: частое начало СД1 наблюдается в юношеском возрасте, СД2 ? в зрелом возрасте; наиболее частое начало туберкулеза у больных сахарным диабетом отмечается в зрелом и пожилом возрасте, в то время как среди всех вновь выявленных больных туберкулезом преобладают лица юношеского и молодого возраста; среди больных СД1 и туберкулезом преобладают мужчины, а среди больных СД2 и туберкулезом ? женщины; сочетанной патологией чаще страдают городские жители, причем как мужчины, так и женщины.

Full Text Available Цель. Оценка распространенности туберкулеза в популяции больных СД в РД за 1993?2004 гг. Материалы и методы. Всего за 12-летний период было учтено 170 случаев заболевания туберкулезом среди больных СД. Результаты. Среди всех сопутствующих заболеваний у больных туберкулезом СД составил за анализируемый период 0,90%, больше 1,01% составила группа прочих заболеваний, 0,68% ? заболевания психики, 0,31% ? ХНЗЛ. Выводы. Признаки синхронности распространенности СД и заболеваемости туберкулезом, если их рассматривать раздельно, по территориям республики отмечаются достаточно редко, хотя можно было бы ожидать большие показатели заболеваемости туберкулезом по территориям с большей распространенностью СД. Проблемы сочетания двух социально значимых нозологий в РД представляют наибольший интерес с точки зрения клинической эпидемиологии.

The geological and hydrogeological problems related to the subsurface disposal of radioactive wastes in the Federal Republic of Germany are outlined. Special consideration is given to the possibility of storing solid and liquid wastes in the salt-domes widespread in the north-west, and of injecting liquid waste into deep reservoirs containing briny water and located in favourable geologic structures. Full Text Available The creation of an area of freedom, security and justice is one of the most rapidly developing aspects of European integration. It this paper, we take a look at the foreign policies involved in this process — aside from the internal development of the European Union, they concern a significant number of third countries, including Russia. In our view, the efforts to manage the flow of migrants and asylum seekers constitute a viable part of the external dimension within the AFSJ policies. Much of this article is based on the theoretical postulates introduced by the scholars of the Paris School, a school within the discipline of security studies that conceptualized the connection between migration, terrorism, asylum, crime and ethnic clashes, and its role as a major threat facing the European Union. Externalization of this complex threat (that is, externalization in relation to the European Union is thus seen as one of the key prerequisites to advancement of migration management activities beyond the EU (i. e. externalization of migration management. In this article, we analyze the role the EU plays at the international scene and categorize the actions it took to manage the influx of migrants and asylum seekers from the 1980s until the time when supranational administrative bodies were granted mandates in the spheres of Justice and Home Affairs (JHA of the EU Member States. Full text: Changing of character of acts of terrorism in the end of 20 and the beginning of 21 centuries specifies the increased interest of the terrorist organizations to the weapons of mass destruction. The most accessible are the biological and chemical weapons, as well as the self-made {sup d}irty{sup e}xplosive devices filled with a radioactive material. Application by terrorists of the nuclear weapon at the present is not actual. A nuclear ammunition is under the intensive control not only of the state-possessor of the nuclear weapon, but also all world community. Benefit of use of mass destruction weapons by the terrorist organizations is depended of accessibility of combat chemical or biological substances, easiness of their manufacture, a small amount of poisoning and biological substances necessary for use in the closed space, availability of influence on the big areas, psychological pressure upon the world community. The most known incidents related with use of chemical or biological substances were: - 1992 (chemical) - neo nazis attacked synagogue using cyanide, Germany - 1993 (chemical) - cyanide inside the bomb exploded in the World Trade Center, USA - 1994 (chemical) - use of sarin in Matsumoto, Japan led to the death of 8 and hospitalization of 200 people - 1995 (chemical) - again sarin used in Tokyo metro, 12 people died and 5 500 injured - 1995 (chemical) - FBI agents prevented the attack with the use of sarin of Disney land - 1995 (chemical) - attack in Japan with use of cyanide, phosgene and pepper gas - 1995 (biological) - a member of 'Aryan nation' was arrested for ordering a pestilence virus. - 1995 (radiological) - a terrorist organization of Chechnya republic placed a 14 kilo pack filled with a radioactive cesium-137 and explosives in a Moscow park - 1997 (chemical) - 2 attacks of the trading centers with a use of chlor bombs in Japan. The facts mentioned above put before the Republic of Tajikistan objectives of organization of actions for population and territory protection from mass-destruction weapon. Organization of actions on population and territory protection is caused on geographical location of Tajikistan. There is a number of some states near Tajikistan that have nuclear weapon: India, China, Pakistan. The basic actions for protection of the population and territories from weapons of mass destruction are: maintenance and accumulation of means of an individual defense, creation of stocks; creation and restoration of protective constructions of a civil defense; evacuation actions planning; restoration of system of monitoring and the laboratory control of a civil defense of Republic Tajikistan; according to the Government Regulation N 527 and dated on 31{sup st} of October, 2008 the 'Emergency situations and civil defense system development 2009-2014' Program was adopted. According to the Plan of the events within this Programme Committee of emergency situations and civil defense under the Government of Republic of Tajikistan provides a stage-by-stage realization of the actions for protection of population and territories from mass-destruction weapon. One of the important actions is provision and accumulation of the means of personal protection, keeping of this means. The means of personal protections are laboratory tested by the specialists of the Committee of emergency situations and civil defense. Analytical data of the Committee of emergency situations and civil defense allows making some conclusions concerning experienced storage of the means of personal protection. A general analysis of laboratory test indicates that: laboratory tests of filtering boxes indicate the preservation of air flow resistance and waterproof due to the adherence to the rules of keeping; laboratory tests of the front parts of the gas masks and their hardness and waterproof, and the waterproof of the valves show that the front part is dependent on meteorological character of the region of storage at long-term keeping. Conclusions: According to the experience, personal protection equipment kept due to the rules of storage can keep its technical characteristics.
