    Full Text Available Článek analyzuje tři oblasti jevů, se kterými se setkáváme ve snaze identifikovat epistemologické překážky v porozumění nekonečnu: Pojetí existence a s tím související princip tvůrce, Obzor a jeho polohy a Znalosti o konečnu. Každou z těchto oblastí podrobně popisuji a ilustruji jednotlivé jevy výňatky z experimentálních rozhovorů. Na závěr je uvedena diskuse o těchto třech oblastech a důsledky z toho plynoucí pro hledání konkrétních epistemologických překážek.

  2. Overview of Loop Heat Pipe Operation

    Loop heat pipes (LHP's) are two-phase heat transfer devices that utilize the evaporation and condensation of a working fluid to transfer heat, and the capillary forces developed in the porous wicks to circulate the fluid. The LHP was first developed in the former Soviet Union in the early 1980s, about the same time that the capillary pumped loop (CPL) was developed in the United States. The LHP is known for its high pumping capability and robust operation mainly due to the use of fine-pored metal wicks and an integral evaporator/hydro-accumulator design. The LHP technology is rapidly gaining acceptance in aerospace community. It is the baseline design for thermal control of several spacecraft, including NASA's GLAS and Chemistry, ESA's ATLID, CNES' STENTOR, RKA's OBZOR, and several commercial satellites. Numerous LHP papers have been published since the mid-1980's. Most papers presented test results and discussions on certain specific aspects of the LHP operation. LHP's and CPL's show many similarities in their operating principles and performance characteristics. However, they also display significant differences in many aspects of their operation. Some of the LHP behaviors may seem strange or mysterious, even to experienced CPL practitioners. The main purpose of this paper is to present a systematic description of the operating principles and thermal-hydraulic behaviors of LHP'S. LHP operating principles will be given first, followed by a description of the thermal-hydraulics involved in LHP operation. Operating characteristics and important parameters affecting the LHP operation will then be described in detail. Peculiar behaviors of the LHP, including temperature hysteresis and temperature overshoot during start-up, will be explained. For simplicity, most discussions will focus upon LHP's with a single evaporator and a single condenser, but devices with multiple evaporators and condensers will also be discussed.     Full Text Available V nastojaščej rabote daetsja obzor mnogodesjatiletnej raboty serbskih dialektologov nad Obščeslavjanskim lingvističeskim atlasom (OLA - nesomnenno, do sih por, samym krupnym i samym vseob''emljuščim lingvističeskim naučnym načinaniem v slavjanskom mire. Rabota v otečestvennom sektore meždunarodnyh lingvogeografičeskih proektov razvertyvalas', a razvetyvaetsja i v nastojaščee vremja, v ramkah Mežaka demičeskogo komiteta po dialektologičeskim atlasam pri Serbskoj akademii nauk i iskusstv. V načale zdes' predlagaemoj raboty predstavlen sam proekt Obščeslavjanskogo lingvističeskogo atlasa - kratkaja istorija, set' punktov, struktura voprosnika, dve serii tomov. Zatem predstavlena set' punktov na teritorii Respubliki Serbii, s učetom punktov v Vengrii i Rumynii, v kotoryh ispol'zuetsja serbskij jazyk, a takže punktov, raspoložennyh na territorii Černogorii, o kotoryh imejutsja dannye v arhive Komiteta, tak kak Černogorija vse ešče ne napravila svoih predstavitelej v Meždunarodnuju komissiju OLA. V každom imejuščemsja tome materialov otmečano učastie serbskih dialektologov - reč' idet o vos'mi fonetičeskih i semi leksičeskih tomah OLA. Udeljaetsja takže vnimanie bol'šinstvu važnyh momentov iz raboty OLA, načinaja s pervogo rabočego zasedanija jugoslavskih dialektologov, provedennogo v Zagrebe v 1959 godu i končaja poslednim zasedaniem Meždunarodnoj komissii OLA, provedennym v 2012 godu v Šlapanicah, nedaleko ot g. Brno. V zaključitel'noj časti nastojaščej raboty izlagajutsja objazannosti, stojaščie v nastojaščee vremja pered Serbskoj nacional'noj komissiej pri OLA, a takže problemy, na kotorye otečestvennaja komissija možet natknut'sja pri vypolnenii očerednyh zadač.   4. Comparison of different types of medium scale field rainfall simulators

    the experimental plot. Comparison was done during two independent campaigns, where always two devices were present. Rainfall intensity for the experiments varied between 40 to 60 mm/h. Mutual comparison was carried out between the CTU Prague and TU Freiberg RSs at plot size of 3 x 1 m and Between CTU Prague and BAW RSs at plot size of 5 x 2 m. In general, the experiments revealed a significant effect of potential heterogeneities at the experimental plots and an effect of raindrop energy on both surface runoff formation and mainly soil loss. Therefore, coordination of methodology of the experiments and careful control of initial conditions seem to be a crucial point for comparability of results from individual devices.
