Full Text Available Materiju vađenja podrtina i potonulih stvari uređuju odredbe upravnopravne prirode koje reguliraju odnose između vlasnika podrtine ili potonule stvari, odnosno ovlaštene osobe i upravnih tijela, a kojima se uređuju razni pravni aspekti postupka vađenja. Pravo vaditi podrtinu ili potonulu stvar primarno ima njezin vlasnik odnosno ovlaštena osoba. Zakon vlasnicima podrtina i potonulih stvari, odnosno ovlaštenim osobama, ostavlja primjeren rok u kojem mogu pokrenuti upravni postupak za dobivanje dozvole za vađenje podrtine ili potonule stvari. Na taj način jamči se nepovredivost vlasništva i utvrđuje načelo prema kojem činjenica da je stvar potonula ili se nasukala ne utječe izravno na vlasnička prava njezina dotadašnjeg vlasnika. Međutim, ako vlasnik, odnosno ovlaštena osoba ne zatraži odobrenje za vađenje podrtine ili potonule stvari, ili kad bez opravdanog razloga prekine ili napusti započeto vađenje kao i u slučaju ako je ovlaštena osoba nepoznata, PZ nudi pravni okvir i omogućuje da vađenje podrtine ili potonule stvari poduzme pošteni nalaznik ili lučka kapetanija. U okviru instituta vađenja podrtina i potonulih stvari uvodi se posebno pravno uređenje za nalaz stvari u moru te se precizno normiraju svi segmenti postupka vađenja kada ga poduzima pošteni nalaznik ili lučka kapetanija. Uređuju se i sva relevantna pitanja u svezi postupanja s izvađenim stvarima kao što su njihovo čuvanje te u propisanim slučajevima mogućnost prodaje na javnoj dražbi. PZ-om se precizno uređuju obvezni odnosi koji nastaju između vlasnika, odnosno ovlaštene osobe i poštenog nalaznika te vlasnika, odnosno ovlaštene osobe i lučke kapetanije, ovisno o tome tko je poduzeo vađenje, a koji se odnose na plaćanje naknade za vađenje, čuvanje, nalazninu i druge tražbine koje zakon priznaje poštenim nalaznicima i lučkim kapetanijama. AMP-Activated Protein Kinase (AMPK) Regulates Energy Metabolism through Modulating Thermogenesis in Adipose Tissue

Obesity occurs when excess energy accumulates in white adipose tissue (WAT), whereas brown adipose tissue (BAT), which is specialized in dissipating energy through thermogenesis, potently counteracts obesity. White adipocytes can be converted to thermogenic “brown-like” cells (beige cells; WAT browning) under various stimuli, such as cold exposure. AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) is a crucial energy sensor that regulates energy metabolism in multiple tissues. However, the role of AMPK in adipose tissue function, especially in the WAT browning process, is not fully understood. To illuminate the effect of adipocyte AMPK on energy metabolism, we generated Adiponectin-Cre-driven adipose tissue-specific AMPK α1/α2 KO mice (AKO). These AKO mice were cold intolerant and their inguinal WAT displayed impaired mitochondrial integrity and biogenesis, and reduced expression of thermogenic markers upon cold exposure. High-fat-diet (HFD)-fed AKO mice exhibited increased adiposity and exacerbated hepatic steatosis and fibrosis and impaired glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity. Meanwhile, energy expenditure and oxygen consumption were markedly decreased in the AKO mice both in basal conditions and after stimulation with a β3-adrenergic receptor agonist, CL 316,243. In contrast, we found that in HFD-fed obese mouse model, chronic AMPK activation by A-769662 protected against obesity and related metabolic dysfunction. A-769662 alleviated HFD-induced glucose intolerance and reduced body weight gain and WAT expansion. Notably, A-769662 increased energy expenditure and cold tolerance in HFD-fed mice. A-769662 treatment also induced the browning process in the inguinal fat depot of HFD-fed mice. Likewise, A-769662 enhanced thermogenesis in differentiated inguinal stromal vascular fraction (SVF) cells via AMPK signaling pathway. In summary, a lack of adipocyte AMPKα induced thermogenic impairment and obesity in response to cold and nutrient-overload, respectively

The macauba palm (Acrocomia aculeata) is native of tropical America and is found mostly in the Cerrados and Pantanal biomes. The fruits provide an oily pulp, rich in long chain fatty acids, and a kernel that encompass more than 50% of lipids rich in medium chain fatty acids (MCFA). Based on biochemical and nutritional evidences MCFA is readily catabolized and can reduce body fat accumulation. In this study, an animal model was employed to evaluate the effect of Acrocomia aculeata kernel oil (AKO) on the blood glucose level and the fatty acid deposit in the epididymal adipose tissue. The A. aculeata kernel oil obtained by cold pressing presented suitable quality as edible oil. Its fatty acid profile indicates high concentration of MCFA, mainly lauric, capric and caprilic. Type 2 diabetic rats fed with that kernel oil showed reduction of blood glucose level in comparison with the diabetic control group. Acrocomia aculeata kernel oil showed hypoglycemic effect. A small fraction of total dietary medium chain fatty acid was accumulated in the epididymal adipose tissue of rats fed with AKO at both low and high doses and caprilic acid did not deposit at all.

Insulin signaling plays a unique role in the regulation of energy homeostasis and the impairment of insulin action is associated with altered lipid metabolism, obesity, and Type 2 Diabetes. The main aim of this study was to provide further insight into the regulatory mechanisms governing the insulin signaling pathway by investigating the role of non-proteolytic ubiquitination in insulin-mediated activation of AKT. The molecular mechanism of AKT regulation through ubiquitination is first dissected in vitro in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes and then validated in vivo using mice with adipo-specific deletion of GPS2, an endogenous inhibitor of Ubc13 activity (GPS2-AKO mice). Our results indicate that K63 ubiquitination is a critical component of AKT activation in the insulin signaling pathway and that counter-regulation of this step is provided by GPS2 preventing AKT ubiquitination through inhibition of Ubc13 enzymatic activity. Removal of this negative checkpoint, through GPS2 downregulation or genetic deletion, results in sustained activation of insulin signaling both in vitro and in vivo . As a result, the balance between lipid accumulation and utilization is shifted toward storage in the adipose tissue and GPS2-AKO mice become obese under normal laboratory chow diet. However, the adipose tissue of GPS2-AKO mice is not inflamed, the levels of circulating adiponectin are elevated, and systemic insulin sensitivity is overall improved. Our findings characterize a novel layer of regulation of the insulin signaling pathway based on non-proteolytic ubiquitination of AKT and define GPS2 as a previously unrecognized component of the insulin signaling cascade. In accordance with this role, we have shown that GPS2 presence in adipocytes modulates systemic metabolism by restricting the activation of insulin signaling during the fasted state, whereas in absence of GPS2, the adipose tissue is more efficient at lipid storage, and obesity becomes uncoupled from inflammation and insulin

This study compares the shielding characteristics of twenty-two tropical woods by using gamma scintillation detection method. Woods sourced are Anogeisus Leiocarpus(Ayin), Nesogordonia Papverifera(Oro), Entandrophragma Microphyllum(Anunje), Brachystagia Eurycoma(Ako), Cassia Alata(Asunrun), Afzelia Africana(Apa-Igbo), Khaya Grandifoliala(Gedu), Piptadenistrum Africana(Agbonyin), Nanclea Diderrehii(Opepe), Khaya Ivorensis(Oganwo), Chlorophora Excelsa(Iroko), Masonia altissima(Odogi), Entandrophragma Angolense(Ijebo), Altium Sativum(Ayo), Albizia Zygia(Ayunre), Terminalia Superba(Afara), Cordia Millenii(Omo), Melania(Melania), Pycnanthus Angolensis(Akomu), Triplochitons Scleroxylon(Arere), Pine(Pine), Ceiba Pentradra(Araba). The intensities of the emergent radiation were measured, when each of these woods were placed between a scintillation detector and a standard radioactive source. Analysis of result obtained shows an appreciable evidence of radiation attenuation due to the changes in the chemical composition of the woods and the dependence of the attenuation coefficient on energy and densities of these woods. The descending order of attenuation coefficient determined are; Ayin, Oro, Anuje, Ako, Asunrun, Apa-igbo Gedu, Agbonyin, Opepe Oganwo, Iroko Odogi , Ayo, Ayunre, Afara, Omo, Melania, Akomu, Arere, Pine, Araba. For a constant energy of 0.101MeV, the attenuation coefficient are 0.190cm -1 , 0.165cm -1 , 0.163cm -1 , 0.156cm -1 , 0.149cm -1 , 0.143cm -1 , 0.133cm -1 , 0.132cm -1 , 0.127cm -1 , 0.124cm -1 , 0.085cm -1 , 0.123cm -1 , 0.122cm -1 , 0.113cm -1 , 0.101cm -1 , 0.088cm -1 , 0.087cm -1 , 0.086cm -1 , 0.082cm -1 respectively. The wood in descending order of dependence of attenuation coefficient on density are: Ayin,Oro, Anunje,Ako,Asunrun,Apa-Igbo, Gedu, Agbonyin, Opepe, Oganwo, Iroko, Odogi, Ijebo, Ayo, Ayunre, Afara, Omo, Melania, Akomu, Arere, Pine and Araba. Full Text Available Predložena praca bola zamerana na stanovenie obsahu vybranych fenolovych zlučenin (celkove fenoly, triesloviny, flavonoidy a antokyany troch roznych druhov rodu Thymus (T. pulegioides, T. pannonicus, T. praecox s rozdielnym povodom (Českomoravska vrchovina, Křivoklat a Považsky Inovec. Na stanovenie tychto zložiek boli využite spektrofotometricke metody Europskeho liekopisu, 8. vydanie. Zaroveň bol stanoveny aj obsah silice a bola vykonana analyza jej zložiek. Obsah celkovych polyfenolov bol stanoveny spektrofotometrickou metodou s využitim Folin-Ciocalteovho činidla. Obsah kolisal od 3.87 % do 8,86 %. Obsah trieslovin bol realizovany na zaklade predošleho stanovenia obsahu celkovych fenolov, a to adsorpciou trieslovin na kožny prašok. Ich obsah sa pohyboval v rozmedzi 1,96 % do 5,65 %. Na stanovenie obsahu flavonoidov bola využita spektrofotometricka metoda s chloridom hlinitym. Obsah flavonoidov vyjadrenych ako luteolin-7-O-glukozid (λ = 392 nm kolisal od 0,59 % do 1,52 % a obsah flavonoidov vyjadrenych ako rutin (λ = 420 nm sa pohyboval v rozmedzi od 0,41 % do 1,12 %. Antokyany zaberaju v ramci fenolovych zložiek rodu Thymus len minimalny podiel. V našich vzorkach bol obsah antokyanov vyjadreny ako cyanidin-3- O-glukozid a kolisal od 0,02 % do 0,1 %. Na stanovenie obsahu silice bola využita metoda Europskeho liekopisu, 8.vydanie. Obsah silice sa pohyboval v rozmedzi od 0,2 % do 0,75 %. Na analyzu silice bola nasledne využita metoda plynovej chromatografie s hmotnostnou spektrometriou. Na zaklade tejto analyzy bola zistena pritomnosť troch chemotypov silice, a to tymoloveho, karvakroloveho a linalooloveho chemotypu. Vďaka variaciami chemickeho zloženia silice, bolo možne pozorovať vzťah medzi pritomnosťou určiteho chemotypu a povodom vzorky. Rozdiely v stanoveni obsahu flavonoidov nepreukazali žiadny vyrazny vzťah k lokalite povodu.

Full Text Available Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP signaling is crucial for the development and function of numerous organs, but its role on the function of pancreatic islets is not completely clear. To explore this question, we applied the high throughput transcriptomic analyses on the islets isolated from mice with a pancreas-specific deletion of the gene, Bmpr1a, encoding the type 1a BMP receptor. Consistently, these pBmpr1aKO mice had impaired glucose homeostasis at 3 months, and were more severely affected at 12 months of age. These had lower fasting blood insulin concentrations, with reduced expression of several key regulators of β-cell function. Importantly, transcriptomic profiling of 3-month pBmpr1aKO islets and bioinformatic analyses revealed abnormal expression of 203 metabolic genes. Critically among these, the tryptophan hydroxylase 1 gene (Tph1, encoding the rate-limiting enzyme for the production of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT was the highest over-expressed one. 5-HT is an important regulator of insulin secretion from β cells. Treatment with excess 5-HT inhibited this secretion. Thus our transcriptomic analysis links two highly conserved molecular pathways the BMP signaling and the TPH1–5-HT axis on glucose homeostasis.

Full Text Available Author in the contribution devote to research of authority and subordination in the family from the perspective of visual anthropology. Everyday family life is controlled by a set of culturally specific values and norms that determine the appropriate family ideology. Research of the family dynamics can provide the basic image of the various forms of relationships. Author realized research of power manifestations in the mountain village at the north of Slovakia which is characterized by frequent occurrence of the patriarchal family. The authority in the patriarchal family ideology is attributed to older men belonging to the paternal lineage; it is typically associated with patrilineality, patrilocality and focusing on ancestors. The question is how can we explore the subjective perception of authority in the case of children. It seems to be very helpful to apply the special projective technique – the family drawing test. Aim of this contribution is to show not only interface between theoretical concepts and practical collection of empirical data in the field, but also the interpretation of specific children's drawings. End-of-conference, author would like to highlight that anthropologist has to detect the specific socio-cultural environment of studied families, because its knowledge plays the key role in the complex interpretation of visual material.

Alteration of the acetylation status of chromatin and other non-histone proteins by HDAC inhibitors has evolved as an excellent epigenetic strategy in treatment of cancers. The present study was sought to identify compounds with positive pharmacological profiles targeting HDAC1. Analogues of Vorinostat synthesized by Cai et al, 2015 formed the test compounds for the present pharmacological evaluation. Hydroxamte analogue 6H showed superior pharmacological profile in comparison to all the compounds in the analogue dataset owing to its better electrostatic interactions and hydrogen bonding patterns. In order to identify compounds with even better high affinity and pharmacological profile than 6H and Vorinostat, virtual screening was performed. A total of 83 compounds similar to Vorinostat and 154 compounds akin to analogue 6H were retrieved. SCHEMBL15675695 (PubCid: 15739209) and AKOS019005527 (PubCid: 80442147) similar to Vorinostat and 6H, were the best docked compounds among the virtually screened compounds. However, in spite of having good affinity, none of the virtually screened compounds had better affinity than that of 6H. In addition SCHEMBL15675695 was predicted to be a carcinogen while AKOS019005527 is Ames toxic. From, our extensive analysis involving binding affinity analysis, ADMET properties predictions and pharmacophoric mappings, we report Vorinostat hydroxamate analogue 6H to be a potential candidate for HDAC inhibition in treatment of cancers through an epigenetic strategy.

Full Text Available Výskum sa zameral na mladé porasty buka lesného (Fagus sylvatica a smreka obyčajného (Picea abies rovnakého veku (12 rokov, veľmi podobných dimenzií stromov, rastúcich na totožnom stanovišti. Na základe odberu vzorníkov celých stromov (všetky časti okrem jemných koreňov sme skonštruovali alometrické vzťahy pre stromové komponenty. Ako nezávislá premenná sa použila hrúbka na báze kmeňa (d0. Modely vyjadrili nielen biomasu konárov, kmeňa, hrubých koreňov a asimilačných orgánov, ale aj plochu asimilačných orgánov a špecifickú listovú plochu (specific leaf area; SLA. Zistili sme, že základné morfologické vlastnosti asimilačných orgánov varírovali pri obidvoch drevinách pozdĺž vertikálneho profilu koruny. V prípade smreka sa zistili odlišné hodnoty plochy ihlíc a SLA medzi jednotlivými ročníkmi ihlíc. Na úrovni stromu mali buky oveľa viac biomasy drevných častí ako smreky, opačná situácia bola pri asimilačných orgánoch. Preto hodnoty podielu medzi biomasou asimilačných orgánov a celkovou biomasou stromu, ako aj pomeru medzi plochou asimilačných orgánov a celkovou biomasou stromu boli výrazne vyššie pri smreku než buku. Na úrovni porastu mala smrečina vyššie hodnoty indexu listovej plochy, t. j. LAI (18,64 m2.m−2 v porovnaní s bučinou (12,77 m2.m−2. Kým biomasa asimilačných orgánov bola 4,6-krát väčšia v smrekovom než v bukovom poraste, biomasa drevných časti bola porovnateľná v obidvoch porastoch. Tieto kontrasty naznačujú výrazne odlišnú rastovú stratégiu, resp. alokáciu biomasy medzi bučinami a smrečinami v mladých štádiách

Full Text Available Objective To explore the effects of gene knock-out,agonist or inhibitor of adenosine A2A receptor on the locomotor activity,and anxiety-or depression-like behavior of mice.Methods Male C57BL/6 mice,comprising those underwent gene knock-out of adenosine A2A receptor(A2AKO and their wild-type(WT littermates,were assigned into A2AKO group and WT group.Another batch of male C57BL/6,specific-pathogen-free(SPF mice,were assigned into SCH58261 group,CGS21680 group and control group.Mice of aforesaid 3 groups were transperitoneally administered with SCH58261,a specific inhibitor of adenosine A2A receptor at a dose of 2mg/kg,CGS21680,a specific agonist of adenosine A2A receptor at a dose of 0.5mg/kg,and vehicle(0.25ml,comprising DMSO and saline,respectively.Ten minutes after injection,mice of the 3 groups underwent open-field test,elevated plus-maze test and forced swimming test to detect their locomotor activity,anxiety-and depression-like behavior.Results a Compared with WT group,the total movement distance decreased(P 0.05.b Compared with control group,the total movement distance decreased and the stay time in the peripheral area increased significantly in the open field test(P 0.05.Conclusions The agonist of adenosine A2A receptor may depress the spontaneous motility and exploratory behavior,and exacerbate the anxiety and depression,and it simulates the effect induced by knock-out of A2A receptor gene,but it is opposite to the effect induced by A2A receptor inhibitor.

Full Text Available Osigurateljev subrogacijski zahtjev prema prijevozniku nije zahtjev za naknadu prema trećoj osobi u smislu čl. III 6A Haško-Visbyjkih pravila. Prijevoznik je tužena strana u sporu s pošiljateljem stvari i činjenica da (subrogacijom osiguratelj zauzima mjesto pošiljatelja ne stavlja prijevoznika u poziciju treće osobe. Položaj prijevoznika se ne mijenja ako pravo osobe koja je s njim sklopila ugovor bude prenijeto na temelju subrogacije na osiguratelja. Ablation of an Ovarian Tumor Family Deubiquitinase Exposes the Underlying Regulation Governing the Plasticity of Cell Cycle Progression in Toxoplasma gondii.

The Toxoplasma genome encodes the capacity for distinct architectures underlying cell cycle progression in a life cycle stage-dependent manner. Replication in intermediate hosts occurs by endodyogeny, whereas a hybrid of schizogony and endopolygeny occurs in the gut of the definitive feline host. Here, we characterize the consequence of the loss of a cell cycle-regulated o varian tu mor (OTU family) deubiquitinase, OTUD3A of Toxoplasma gondii (TgOTUD3A; TGGT1_258780), in T. gondii tachyzoites. Rather than the mutation being detrimental, mutant parasites exhibited a fitness advantage, outcompeting the wild type. This phenotype was due to roughly one-third of TgOTUD3A-knockout (TgOTUD3A-KO) tachyzoites exhibiting deviations from endodyogeny by employing replication strategies that produced 3, 4, or 5 viable progeny within a gravid mother instead of the usual 2. We established the mechanistic basis underlying these altered replication strategies to be a dysregulation of centrosome duplication, causing a transient loss of stoichiometry between the inner and outer cores that resulted in a failure to terminate S phase at the attainment of 2N ploidy and/or the decoupling of mitosis and cytokinesis. The resulting dysregulation manifested as deviations in the normal transitions from S phase to mitosis (S/M) (endopolygeny-like) or M phase to cytokinesis (M/C) (schizogony-like). Notably, these imbalances are corrected prior to cytokinesis, resulting in the generation of normal progeny. Our findings suggest that decisions regarding the utilization of specific cell cycle architectures are controlled by a ubiquitin-mediated mechanism that is dependent on the absolute threshold levels of an as-yet-unknown target(s). Analysis of the TgOTUD3A-KO mutant provides new insights into mechanisms underlying the plasticity of apicomplexan cell cycle architecture. Primjena spektrometrijskih metoda u analizi metalurških uzoraka

Full Text Available Instrumentalne metode analize nezamjenjive su u znanstvenim istraživanjima, a sve više i u praksi gdje se zahtijeva što brže dobivanje rezultata, kao i što veća točnost. U metalurškoj praksi već se dulji niz godina primjenjuju spektrometrijske metode analize i to najčešće optička emisijska spektrometrija s izravnim očitanjem. Međutim koncentracija pojedinih legirnih elemenata u suvremenim metalnim materijalima vrlo je niska, često niža od granice detekcije optičkih emisijskih spektrometara s izravnim očitanjem. U ovom radu određivana je koncentracija bora u nodularnom lijevu primjenom optičke emisijske spektrometrije s izravnim očitanjem (OES, optičke emisijske spektrometrije s induktivno spregnutom plazmom (ICP-OES te atomske apsorpcijske spektrometrije s grafitnom tehnikom (AAS-GF. Dobiveni rezultati pokazali su da se optička emisijska spektrometrija s izravnim očitanjem i optička emisijska spektrometrija s induktivno spregnutom plazmom mogu primijeniti za određivanje bora u ispitivanim uzorcima (tablica 1. Ako se zahtijeva vrlo točna analiza, a posebno ako se radi o vrlo niskim koncentracijama, optička emisijska spektrometrija s induktivno spregnutom plazmom pogodnija je metoda, uz uvjet da su uzorci pravilno pripremljeni. Atomska apsorpcijska spektrometrija s grafitnom tehnikom nije pogodna za određivanje bora u uzorcima ovog tipa. Tijekom provođenja analize dodatna pažnja usmjerena je na eliminaciju negativnog utjecaja grafitne kivete na rezultat analize. Osim toga, u radu je praćen utjecaj načina otapanja uzoraka na rezultate analize bora spomenutim metodama. Rezultati su pokazali da pažljiva priprema uzoraka u zatvorenom sustavu pridonosi točnijem rezultatu analize.

Bone defects resulting from trauma or infection need timely and effective treatments to restore damaged bone. Using specialized three-dimensional (3D) printing technology we have created custom 3D scaffolds of hydroxyapatite (HA)/beta-tri-calcium phosphate (β-TCP) to promote bone repair. To further enhance bone regeneration we have coated the scaffolds with dipyridamole, an agent that increases local adenosine levels by blocking cellular uptake of adenosine. Nearly 15% HA:85% β-TCP scaffolds were designed using Robocad software, fabricated using a 3D Robocasting system, and sintered at 1100°C for 4 h. Scaffolds were coated with BMP-2 (200 ng mL -1 ), dypiridamole 100 µM or saline and implanted in C57B6 and adenosine A2A receptor knockout (A2AKO) mice with 3 mm cranial critical bone defects for 2-8 weeks. Dipyridamole release from scaffold was assayed spectrophotometrically. MicroCT and histological analysis were performed. Micro-computed tomography (microCT) showed significant bone formation and remodeling in HA/β-TCP-dipyridamole and HA/β-TCP-BMP-2 scaffolds when compared to scaffolds immersed in vehicle at 2, 4, and 8 weeks (n = 5 per group; p ≤ 0.05, p ≤ 0.05, and p ≤ 0.01, respectively). Histological analysis showed increased bone formation and a trend toward increased remodeling in HA/β-TCP- dipyridamole and HA/β-TCP-BMP-2 scaffolds. Coating scaffolds with dipyridamole did not enhance bone regeneration in A2AKO mice. In conclusion, scaffolds printed with HA/β-TCP promote bone regeneration in critical bone defects and coating these scaffolds with agents that stimulate A2A receptors and growth factors can further enhance bone regeneration. These coated scaffolds may be very useful for treating critical bone defects due to trauma, infection or other causes. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Full Text Available Background: Infection by Toxocara spp. is known to be significantly associated with partial epilepsy. It has become popular for people to raise dogs/cats as pets and consume roasted meat/viscera, and the status of Toxocara spp. infection, epi­lepsy awareness, and associated risk factors among the general population are cur­rently unknown in Taiwan.Methods: A seroepidemiological investigation among 203 college students (CSs, consisting of 110 males and 93 females with an average age of 21.5 ± 1.2 years, was conducted in 2009 in Taipei City. A Western blot analysis based on excretory-secre­tory antigens derived from Toxocara canis larvae (TcESs was applied to determine the positivity of serum immunoglobulin G antibodies. A self-administered question­naire was also given to obtain information about demographic characteris­tics, epilepsy awareness, and risk factors. A logistic regression model was applied for the statistical analysis using SPSS software.Results: The overall seropositive rate of Toxocara spp. infection was 8.4% (17/203. As to epilepsy awareness, a non-significantly higher seroprevalence was found in CSs who claimed to "know" about epilepsy compared to those who did not know (P > 0.05.Conclusions: It appears that appropriate educational programs are urgently needed to provide correct knowledge related to the prevention and control measures against Toxocara spp. infections to avoid potential threats by this parasite to the general population in Taiwan.

An etymological and semantic history of the terms of various pharmaceutical retailers in the West in presented. Apothecary is a combination of IE * apo- (separate) and * dhē (to place) which gave rise to the Greek term apothēkē, which originally meant a warehouse for food and wine. Pharmacy is a combination of the Greek term * pharama form IE * bher- (to charm, enchant) and -(a)-ko- resulting in * pharmako- (magic, charm, cure, potion, medicine) and in Latin pharmacie. Chemist's shop is the English version of an American drugstore. Further, such terms as dispensary, officinal and drug are etymologically discussed. Different usages in England and the U.S. of terms like shop and store are summarized. [Note:"IE" with asterisk stands for the Indo-European proto-languages which are the ancestors of most Western tongues.

Između stranaka je sporno radi li se u konkretnom slučaju o ugovoru o tegljenju ili ugovoru o spašavanju. Spašavanje je svaka djelatnosti kojoj je svrha spašavanje osoba, brodova i stvari s tih brodova. Bitan element pojma spašavanja jest da se osoba, odnosno stvar koja se spašava nalazi u opasnosti (opasnost po život osoba, odnosno propast stvari. Pod spašavanjem se podrazumijeva i pružanje pomoći. Ako je pomoć pružena tegljenjem, to ne znači da se radi o pravnom poslu tegljenja. U konkretnom slučaju u pitanju nije bio komercijalni posao tegljenja već posao spašavanja.

In this paper, we present the development of a fast and robust vision system which, in conjunction with the Dial Gage Calibration system developed by AKO Inc., will be used by the U.S. Army in calibrating dial gage torque wrenches. The vision system detects the change in the angular position of the dial pointer in a dial gage. The angular change is proportional to the applied torque. The input to the system is a sequence of images of the torque wrench dial gage taken at different dial pointer positions. The system then reports the angular difference between the different positions. The primary components of this vision system include modules for image acquisition, linear feature extraction and angle measurements. For each of these modules, several techniques were evaluated and the most applicable one was selected. This system has numerous other applications like vision systems to read and calibrate analog instruments.

Full Text Available Victoria University offers a number of peer-support and mentoring programs for first-year students, including Te Pūtahi Atawahi (mentoring and holistic support for Māori and Pasifika students, PASS (Peer Assisted Study Support and Campus Coaches (Orientation Week guides. In the past, despite having similar goals of providing peer-support to foster a sense of community, such programs have operated in isolation. However, a recent initiative has seen the development of a core leadership training module, jointly designed and delivered by staff from Te Pūtahi Atawhai and Student Learning Support. Seeking to equip student-leaders with an understanding of some of the holistic Māori values, Kotahitanga (unity, Ako (teaching and learning, Manaakitanga (empathy/hospitality, Whakamana (respect, Whakanui (acknowledging success, Whakawhanaungatanga (building strong networks and Rangatiratanga (ability to bring groups together/Self-direction, this core training offers the potential to strengthen Treaty of Waitangi relationships and nurture inter-cultural awareness, developing a pan-university sense of belongingness in the process.

Full Text Available V èlánku sa venuje pozornos možnostiam výroby aktívneho koksu zo slovenského hnedého uhlia Bane Cíge¾. Príprava aktívneho koksu bola uskutoènená v laboratórnych podmienkach a v poloprevádzke. Surové uhlie sa podrobilo vysokoteplotnej pyrolýze v retorte s pevným roštom, v klasickej rotaènej peci, ako aj vo fluidnom reaktore. Následne boli urèované adsorpèné charakteristiky získaného aktívneho koksu, ktoré sa porovnávali s charakteristikami komerène vyrábaného koksu. V príspevku sa taktiež diskutujú možnosti aplikácie pripraveného aktívneho koksu v technológiách ochrany životného prostredia.

Full Text Available The review study focused on Czech translation of Pierre Hadot’s Qu’est-ce que la philosophie antique? is divided into three parts. In the first part the motivation behind the question “what is ancient philosophy?” is considered. On the one hand, Hadot aims to show that usual contemporary understanding of philosophy with its emphasis on discourse and theory does not provide adequate perspective to interpret ancient philosophy in its own right and thus the question on its nature must be asked anew. On the other hand, Hadot sees the core of ancient philosophy in specific praxis, not in theory, and this concept serves as norm for critical revision of the contemporary philosophy. The second part is addressed to the content of the chapters. The study accentuates that Hadot offers not only a description of various ancient philosophical schools and movements, but also presents a certain genealogy of the contemporary understanding of philosophy. The final part is dedicated to brief critical assessment of Hadot’s book and draws several conclusions concerning the institutional character of philosophy with regard to present crisis of humanities from its perspective.

Afferent input selects NMDA receptor subtype to determine the persistency of hippocampal LTP in freely behaving mice

Full Text Available The glutamatergic N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR is critically involved in many forms of hippocampus-dependent memory that may be enabled by synaptic plasticity. Behavioral studies with NMDAR antagonists and NMDAR subunit (GluN2 mutants revealed distinct contributions from GluN2A- and GluN2B-containing NMDARs to rapidly and slowly acquired memory performance. Furthermore, studies of synaptic plasticity, in genetically modified mice in vitro, suggest that GluN2A and GluN2B may contribute in different ways to the induction and longevity of synaptic plasticity. In contrast to the hippocampal slice preparation, in behaving mice, the afferent frequencies that induce synaptic plasticity are very restricted and specific. In fact, it is the stimulus pattern, and not variations in afferent frequency that determine the longevity of long-term potentiation (LTP. Here, we explored the contribution of GluN2A and GluN2B to LTP of differing magnitudes and persistencies in freely behaving mice. We applied differing high-frequency stimulation (HFS patterns at 100 Hz to the hippocampal CA1 region, to induce NMDAR-dependent LTP in wild-type (WT mice, that endured for 24h (late (L-LTP. In GluN2A-KO mice, E-LTP (HFS, 50 pulses was significantly reduced in magnitude and duration, whereas LTP (HFS, 2 x 50 pulses and L-LTP (HFS, 4 x 50 pulses were unaffected compared to responses in WT animals. By contrast, pharmacological antagonism of GluN2B in WT had no effect on E-LTP but significantly prevented LTP. E- LTP and LTP were significantly impaired by GluN2B antagonism in GluN2A-KO mice. These data indicate that the pattern of afferent stimulation is decisive for the recruitment of distinct GluN2A and GluN2B signaling pathways that in turn determine the persistency of hippocampal LTP. Whereas brief bursts of patterned stimulation preferentially recruit GluN2A and lead to weak and short-lived forms of LTP, prolonged, more intense, afferent activation recruits GluN2B

Full Text Available V tejto práci sme pomocou kombinácií kontinuálnych meraní a deštruktívnych odberov vzorníkov sledovali a porovnali zásobu nadzemnej biomasy a ročnú primárnu produkciu (NPP v prirodzene obnovených mladých porastoch buka a smreka. Na vybranej lokalite predpokladáme, že zmenené klimatické podmienky budú lepšie vyhovovať buku pred v súčasnosti prevládajúcim smrekom. Lokalita Vrchslatina sa nachádza v južnej časti Veporských vrchov v nadmorskej výške 977 m nad morom (48° 38΄ 50΄΄ N, 19° 36΄ 07΄΄ E. Priemerné ročné zrážky sa pohybujú okolo 900 mm, priemerná ročná teplota je 5,2 °C. Na sledovanej lokalite sme pozorovali odlišný priebeh rastu buka a smreka. Pri buku bola pozorovaná menšia medziročná mortalita, udržiaval sa až prehustený zápoj, v ktorom sa aj podúrovňové stromy snažili dostať do úrovne. Toto sa prejavilo na tvare kmeňov, ktoré sú tenké a vysoké. Štíhlostný koeficient sa pri stromoch so strednou hrúbkou a strednou výškou postupne zvyšoval od 1,19 do 1,40. Pri smreku dochádza k vyššej mortalite, vrastavé a podúrovňové stromy odumierajú z dôvodu nedostatku svetla. Stromy rastú viac do hrúbky, čo sa odráža aj na štíhlostnom koeficiente, ktorý bol po celé obdobie viac-menej konštantný a pohyboval sa v rozpätí 0,89 až 0,93 (tab. 1. Zásoby kmeňa sú pri smreku v jednotlivých rokoch o 3 - 10 m3.ha-1 väčšie ako pri buku (tab. 3. Po prepočítaní na sušinu je vplyvom rozdielnej objemovej hmotnosti (obr. 5 celková zásoba sušiny drevných častí (kmeň a konáre väčšia pri buku (tab. 3. Najväčší rozdiel medzi drevinami je v zásobe asimilačných orgánov, ktorá je pri smreku viac než trojnásobná (tab. 3 a 4. Full Text Available O aumento da atividade nervosa simpática e a taquicardia em repouso ou durante esforços físicos estão associados ao aumento da morbimortalidade, mesmo na ausência de sinais clínicos de doença cardíaca. Sabendo-se da importância dos receptores α2A/α2C-adrenérgicos na modulação da atividade nervosa e frequência cardíaca (FC, o presente trabalho utiliza um modelo genético de cardiomiopatia induzida por excesso de catecolaminas circulantes baseado na inativação gênica dos receptores α2A/α2C-adrenérgicos em camundongos (α2A/α2CKO para verificar a resposta da FC ao exercício físico (EF, assim como o controle simpatovagal da FC ao EF. Testou-se a hipótese de que haveria resposta taquicárdica exacerbada durante o EF nos camundongos α2A/α2CKO mesmo quando a função cardíaca ainda estivesse preservada em repouso, sendo o receptor α2A-adrenérgico o principal responsável por essa resposta. Camundongos machos da linhagem C57Bl6J, controle (CO e com inativação gênica para os receptores α2A (α2AKO, α2C α2CKO e α2A/α2CKO foram submetidos a um teste de tolerância ao esforço físico. Outros dois grupos de camundongos, CO e α2A/α2CKO, foram submetidos ao bloqueio farmacológico dos receptores muscarínicos e β-adrenérgicos e ao EF progressivo para se avaliar a contribuição simpatovagal para a taquicardia de EF. Observou-se intolerância ao esforço físico (1.220 ± 18 e 1.460 ± 34 vs. 2.630 ± 42m, respectivamente e maior taquicardia ao EF (765 ± 16 e 792 ± 13 vs. 603 ± 18bpm, respectivamente nos camundongos α2AKO e α2A/α2CKO vs. CO. Além disso, o balanço autonômico estava alterado nos camundongos α2A/α2CKO pela hiperatividade simpática e menor efeito vagal cardíaco. Induced mutation for the improvement of soybean (Glycine max L.)

A study on the use of gamma radiation in the induction of mutations in eight varieties of soybean was conducted. The radiosensitivity of the seeds of both local and introduced soybean varieties was determined. The effects of gamma radiation in the M1 generation were evaluated. Percentage germination was not affected by doses of 200 and 250 Gy gamma radiation in all the eight soybean varieties. No significant differences in seedling height were observed at 200 Gy and the control except for the 250 Gy in BPI-Sy4, PSB-Sy4 and PSB-Sy5. In the Vietnamese varieties, significant differences in seedling height were obtained in doses of 200, 250 Gy and the control except for the variety AKO 6. There was significant difference in plant height of mature plants between the control and treatment dose of 250 Gy in varieties DT 95 and AKO 6. Likewise, significant differences in mature plant height were noted between the control and those at 250 Gy in local varieties BPI-Sy4, PSB-Sy5 and NSIC-Sy8. The number of days to flower was not affected by gamma radiation in both the local and introduced varieties. There were significant differences in the number of pods per plant between the control and a low dose of 200 Gy in Vietnamese variety DT 96 and the local varieties PSB-Sy4, PSB-Sy5 and NSIC-Sy8. The 3 types of chlorophyll mutation induced by gamma rays in the local varieties were: chlorina, striatia,and spotted yellow. Only chlorina mutant was induced in the introduced varieties. Desirable mutants that are early and high yielding were selected. Results of the drought tolerance tests indicated that the number of days to flowering of the control and 8 varieties was not affected by the duration of irrigation withdrawals 20,30,40 and 50 days after planting. Significant differences in seed weight among the different varieties were noted only in 20 and 30 day irrigation withdrawal treatment. Ambivalence is one of the basic characteristics of laugh which is why it cannot be fullly grasped in theory, even though it has been proved that joy expressed by laugh is the most universal emotion. Examples from movies serve well to observe laugh as a form of social gesture in contemporary society.

Full Text Available This paper begins by referring to the research which distinguishes two different aspects of subjective well-being, namely 1. experiences of happiness – measured by frequency and intensity of joy, stress, anger, worry and sadness we experience at a certain moment and 2. life satisfaction. Survey shows that beyond an annual household income of $75 000 there is no increase in the experiences of happiness. The paper then refers to the psychological mechanisms and factors – namely hedonic adaptation, social comparison and stress as a result of a raise – that lower the capacity of money to buy us the experiences of happiness. Not only we get quickly used to the things we buy, money also puts us into stressful situations and makes us build barriers between people. The paper then specifies strategies of economic decision-making that contribute to the maximization of happiness, such as purchase of the experiences instead of the things, interrupted and postponed consumption, or prosocial spending. The research indicates that prosocial spending has higher causal impact on promoting happiness than personal spending. As a matter of fact, this phenomenon is not culturally limited to the West. Concluding assertion – expressed only in the form of hypothesis – says that prosocial spending which is a form of prosocial behavior strengthens – through production of happiness – mutual relations in the society (cooperation.

Full Text Available The article deals with the issue of relation between Aristotle’s ethics and art of rhetoric. On the one hand, his concept of rhetoric stresses its instrumental, morally neutral character, which is substantial for every art. On the other hand, it seems that for Aristotle if speaker is truly good rhetorician and persuades truthfully and for just cause, his speech should appear more persuasive than in case of artful defence of injustice. Thus, truthfulness and justice appear to have inherent persuasive effect. In order to clarify the relation between ethical and rhetorical normative claims author highlights distinctive character of art in comparison to Aristotle’s concepts of moral virtue and prudence (phronēsis and shows how this character of art is integrated into Aristotle’s concept of rhetoric and how it transforms the function of virtue in the scope of rhetorical activity. The primary goal of rhetorician is not to be moral, but merely to appear as such. This conclusion does not call for rejection of rhetoric in the eyes of prudent person. Rather, it is useful, because it provides means to realize ends that are in favour of good life of the city and his fellow citizens.

Svijet je u svim svojim pojavnostima postao uistinu međuovisan pa više nije moguće ignorirati novonastale promjene, a zbog kompleksnosti sustava teško je u njemu uspostaviti ravnotežu. Krize danas pogađaju gospodarske subjekte, političke i državne institucije, kao i različite druge organizacije, ali i čovjeka kao osobu. Krizni menadžment je bolji i učinkovitiji ako je krizna strategija određena pravovremeno. Svaka kriza ima svoj put za rješenje, ali je potrebno dobro razmotriti elemente koji ulaze u procjenu rizika s kojima se ulazi u krizu ili kriznu situaciju. Svima je cilj da, uz živu riječ nastavnika gornji o toj problematici nerijetko drže posebne kolegije, pomognu početnicima da se snadju u mnoštvu udžbenika i drugih knjiga te golemog broja znanstvenih priloga što izlaze u sve brojnijim časopisima u Evropi i van nje. Príspevok je zameraný na spôsoby odkanalizovania obcí situovaných v rovinatom území, kde je potrebné budovať veľký počet čerpacích staníc (ČS. Problémy nastávajú pri niekoľkonásobnom sériovom, paralelnom alebo kombinovanom zapojení ČS. Spotreba energie tvorí často najväčšiu nákladovú položkou celkových nákladov generovaných počas životného cyklu čerpadla. Náklady na energiu môžu dominovať ostatným nákladom, hlavne ak je čerpadlo v chode viac ako 2000 hodín za rok (Wilson et al., 2010.

Conservation education in Madagascar: three case studies in the biologically diverse island-continent.

Few Malagasy children and adults are aware of the rare and unique fauna and flora indigenous to their island-continent, including flagship lemur species. Even the Malagasy ancestral proverbs never mentioned lemurs, but these same proverbs talked about the now extinct hippopotamus. Madagascar's geography, history, and economic constraints contribute to severe biodiversity loss. Deforestation on Madagascar is reported to be over 100,000 ha/year, with only 10-15% of the island retaining natural forest [Green & Sussman, 1990]. Educating children, teacher-training, and community projects about environmental and conservation efforts to protect the remaining natural habitats of endangered lemur species provide a basis for long-term changes in attitudes and practices. Case studies of three conservation education projects located in different geographical regions of Madagascar, Centre ValBio, Madagacar Wildlife Conservation Alaotra Comic Book Project, and The Ako Book Project, are presented together with their ongoing stages of development, assessment, and outcomes. We argue that while nongovernmental organizational efforts are and will be very important, the Ministry of Education urgently needs to incorporate biodiversity education in the curriculum at all levels, from primary school to university. Full Text Available V článku uvedená architektúra je založená na výpočtovom modeli „data flow“, v ktorom riadenie výpočtu je založené na spracovaní toku dát. Základným prvkom DF architektúry je koordinačný procesor (CP, ktorý je zodpovedný za riadenie a organizáciu vykonávania inštrukcií. Štruktúrna organizácia CP je navrhnutá ako dynamický multifunkčný systém. Pri vykonávaní operácií môže CP prechádzať rôznymi stavmi, v dôsledku čoho táto jednotka predstavuje dynamický prúdový systém. Prechod a poradie prechodu medzi jednotlivými stavmi CP je podmienený typom spracovaného operátora pri interpretovaní prúdu operandov. Z možných typov operátorov, článok uvádza mikroprogramové riadenie pre jednovstupové operátory.

Full Text Available POSTPOSITIONAL LOCATIVES IN LITHUANIANSummaryThe paper argues that postpositional locatives in Lithuanian (inessive, illative, adessive, allative are not formations of the same epoch, but rather they were formed at different times; the pro­cess of their formation must have been long and continued right up to the appearance of the first Lithuanian printed book when the case-forms fell into a decline. First came singular forms, next — plural forms. More complicated and protracted was the development of inessive and adessive case-forms.Ā- and ē-stem sg. iness. and ill. forms (e. g. šakojè, žẽmėje, šakõn, žẽmėn are considered to be the oldest. The other sg. ill. and particularly sg. iness. forms are products of later development, as they are, as a rule, constructed in the above-mentioned pattern. The paper gives a detailed analysis of the case-forms and on the basis of the analysis it argues that the singular of all postpositional locatives had already been formed and become stable by the beginning of the period of writing -nothing of the kind can be said of the plural. Only illative and allative possessed then stable plural forms.The development of pl. iness. and adess. forms was hindered by the residual ancient Indo-European locative in -su. The centre of the author's attention, however, is the interrelationship of the case-forms and particularly the origin and development of pl. iness. and adess. case-forms.On the basis of a detailed analysis of the old writings, the author argues that the pl. iness. šakosa derives not from šakose, as is generally assumed, but it presents by itself a transformed version of the older form šakosu. The form šakose is to be derived not from the pl. acc. * šakā́s + *éп, but it should be treated as a transform of šakosu от šakosa in -e from the sg. inessive, cf. šakojè. Full Text Available U ovom članku analiziran je uticaj mesta ugradnje inercijalnog mernog bloka (IMB u avionu i mesta ugradnje akcelerometara u IMB na tačnost određivanja pozicije pomoću bes-platformskog inercijalnog navigacijskog sistema (BINS. Pokazano je da se ovi uticaji ne mogu uvek zanemariti. Izračunata je ukupna greška u određivanju pozicije aviona ako se IMB ugrađuje van centra rotacije aviona, a akcelerometri van centra IMB. Predložena je optimalna orijentacija akcelerometara u IMB-u, kako bi se minimizirao uticaj ugradnje akcelerometara van centra IMB na tačnost određivanja pozicije aviona. Predložen je i način kompenzacije greške. / This paper analyzes the mounting offset size effect of the inertial measurement unit (IMU in aircraft and accelerometers mounting offset size effect in the IMU on the accuracy of strap down inertial navigation system (SDINS. It is also shown that these effects cannot be always neglected. The total size effect error for the IMU has been the computed. An accelerometers optimum orientation inside the IMU has been proposed to minimize size effects on the accuracy of navigation parameters. A manner to compensate these size effects has been proposed as well.

Cieľom tejto práce bolo porovnať modifikované (povrchovo upravené zeolity známe ako klinoptilolit (veľké nálezisko klinoptilolitu bolo objavené na Východnom Slovensku v 1980-tych rokoch s dovážaným povrchovo upraveným zeolitom z náleziska v Maďarsku. Klinopur-Mn a Klinomangan boli použité pre odstraňovanie železa a mangánu z podzemnej vody na dosiahnutie limitných hodnôt pre pitnú vodu podľa Nariadenia vlády č. 496/2010 Z.z. Sledované materiály vykazovali rôznu účinnosť odstraňovania mangánu z vody, na účinnosť odstraňovania mala významný vplyv kvalita upravovanej vody (obsah kyslíka, hodnota pH. V prípade odstraňovania železa z vody kvalita surovej vody nie je limitujúcim faktorom, obidva materiály odstraňovali železo z vody pod limitnú hodnotu (0,2 mg.l-1.

The prevalence of pulmonary nontuberculous mycobacterial (pNTM) disease, including Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC), varies widely according to geographic region. However, the factors that influence regional variations in pNTM disease prevalence remain unknown. This study was undertaken to examine whether environmental or occupational factors or host traits could influence regional variations in pNTM disease prevalence. We collected laboratory data on pulmonary tuberculosis (pTB) and pNTM from two hospitals in the West Harima area of Japan and five hospitals in Kyoto City, Japan from 2012 to 2013. We estimated microbiological pNTM disease prevalence by multiplying all pTB cases in each area with the ratio of pNTM cases and pTB cases at the survey hospitals in each area. We administered a standardized questionnaire to 52 patients and 120 patients with pulmonary MAC (pMAC) disease at Ako City Hospital and Kyoto University Hospital, respectively. The estimated prevalence of microbiological pNTM disease in the West Harima area (85.4/100,000 population-years) was significantly higher than that observed in Kyoto City (23.6/100,000 population-years; pdisease prevalence. Despite overall etiology research, causes of mutism are still unrevealed. The paper summarizes various research studies which focused on links between selective mutism and anxiety disorders, particularly social phobia. In spite of some empirical evidence, it is still impossible to state that the selective mutism is an anxiety disorder.

Full Text Available Medzi základné práva a slobody, upravené v druhej hlave Ústavy Slovenskej republiky patrí aj právo na ochranu zdravia, bezplatnú zdravotnú starostlivosť na základe zdravotného poistenia, právo na zdravotnícke pomôcky za zákonom stanovených podmienok. Tieto práva sú garantované v ustanovení Čl. 40 Ústavy Slovenskej republiky v rámci ekonomických, sociálnych a kultúrnych práv a vzťahujú sa na každú fyzickú osobu, t. j. na človeka. Keďže sú tieto práva považované za ľudské práva v zmysle medzinárodného práva, sú garantované aj v mnohostranných medzinárodných zmluvách, ktorých signatárom je aj Slovenská republika, ako napríklad Medzinárodný pakt o hospodárskych, sociálnych a kultúrnych právach. Právna úprava prevádzkovania lekární v Slovenskej republike zahŕňa široké spektrum otázok a je pomerne rozsiahla. Snahou zákonodarcu bolo nastaviť také pravidlá, ktoré by stransparentnili a zjednodušili právne prostredie v tomto sektore. V niektorých oblastiach sú pravidlá dané legislatívou Európskej únie a slovenský právny poriadok ich iba prevzal. Najdôležitejším prvokom v tejto sfére, ktorý nie je priamo upravovaný legislatívou EÚ, je poskytovanie lekárenskej starostlivosti a využívanie systému verejného zdravotného poistenia v tejto oblasti. Hlavným cieľom príspevku je poukázať na vybrané problémy, ktoré sa spájajú s postavením prevádzkovateľa lekárne a jeho povinnosťami, ktoré mu vyplývajú zo zákona o liekoch a s ktorými sa musí ako prevádzkovateľ lekárne vysporiadať. Táto oblasť podnikania je pomerne prísne regulovaná a preto je potrebné byť oboznámený s príslušnými právnymi predpismi. Príspevok z právno-teoretického hľadiska rieši viaceré otázky upravené v zákone o liekoch, či vyhláške o správnej lekárenskej praxi.

During 1980 the activities of RA reactor staff was conducted in two directions: repair works and determination of the state of the existing equipment; and preparing and constructing additional equipment and completing the documentation needed to fulfill the new legal regulations. preparation of the existing equipment for future operation was finished, but construction of the additional equipment (according to the regulations) is not done at planned rate due to different reasons such as lack of budget, administration, import. This report includes a chapter devoted to the analysis of the operation difficulties that caused prohibition of reactor operation as well as difficulties in achievement of the planned activities for 1980. Na základe zákona, vlastník poľnohospodárskej pôdy na Slovensku je oprávnený bez ďalších obmedzení previesť pozemok do vlastníctva (a osobe, ktorá vykonáva poľnohospodársku výrobu ako podnikanie najmenej tri roky predo dňom uzavretia zmluvy o prevode vlastníctva poľnohospodárskeho pozemku v obci, v ktorej sa poľnohospodársky pozemok nachádza, (b spoluvlastníkovi poľnohospodárskeho pozemku, (c príbuznej osobe, v prípade, že vlastníkom je fyzická osoba.

Okrem toho stručne opisujeme  príručku k metóde concept cartoons© pre  ZŠ, ktorú sme zostavili v rámci našej dizertačnej práce. Pre lepšie posúdenie príručky a možnosti aplikácie metódy concept cartoons© na hodinách prírodovedy sme realizovali rozhovor s tromi učiteľkami primárneho vzdelávania.   Našim cieľom bolo zistiť  ich  názory  na vyučovanie pomocou concept cartoons© a na nami zostavenú metodickú rukoväť k metóde concept cartoons© pre I. stupeň ZŠ.  Prostredníctvom analýzy odpovedí učiteliek sme zistili prevažne pozitívny názor ako na samotnú metódu concept cartoons©, tak aj na zostavenú metodickú príručku k nej.

In this study, a three-step extraction method (separately use acetone, hexane, and ethanol as extraction solvent in each step) was conducted to selectively extract three types of krill oils with different compositions. The lipid yields were 5.08% in step 1, 4.80% in step 2, and 9.11% in step 3, with a total of 18.99%. The krill oil extracted with acetone in step 1 (A-KO) contained the lowest contents of phospholipids (PL) (2.32%) and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) (16.63%), but the highest levels of minor components (505.00 mg/kg of astaxanthin, 29.39 mg/100 g of tocopherols, 34.32 mg/100 g of vitamin A and 27.95 mg/g of cholesterol). By contrast, despite having traces of minor components, the krill oil extracted using ethanol in step 3 (E-KO) was the most abundant in PL (59.52%) and n-3 PUFA (41.74%). The krill oil extracted using hexane in step 2 (H-KO) expressed medium contents of all the testing indices. The oils showed significant differences in the antioxidant capacity (E-KO > H-KO > A-KO) which exhibited positive correlation with the PL content. These results could be used for further development of a wide range of krill oil products with tailor-made functions. Copyright © 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Full Text Available Pri súčasnom vývoji technológií, rapídnom raste počítačových sietí a distribuovaných systémov, je reálne riziko útoku čoraz pravdepodobnejšie. Pre zvýšenie samotnej bezpečnosti systémov už bolo vytvorených a implementovaných množstvo riešení, ktoré mali slúžiť na detekciu a/alebo prevenciu pred samotnými útokmi. Najpoužívanejšie riešenie predstavuje použitie systému na detekciu prieniku (IDS v kooperácii s firewallom. Avšak ani IDS a ani firewall nedokážu reagovať v reálnom čase, pokiaľ sa jedná o špecifický typ útoku. Táto práca sa zaoberá detekčným mechanizmom na báze technológie Honeypot a jeho využitím v navrhovanej architektúre pre zvýšenie bezpečnosti v počítačových systémoch. Podstatou práce je poukázať na to, ako dokáže sofistikovaný hybridný Honeypot vplývať na dizajn architektúry IDS a tým zvýšiť jej efektivitu.

Analiza elektronske pošte zasnovane na internet serverima Za personalnu komunikaciju često  se koriste Web servisi za elektronsku poštu: Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, gmail.... Ovi se servisi koriste bez upotrebe softvera klijenata elektronske pošte i sačinjavaju klijent-server sistem. Web mail sistem predaje elektronsku poruku koristeći SMTP protokol i koristeći POP ili IMAP protokole. Web pošta se ne čuva se na lokalnom računaru, osim ako to korisnik izričito ne zahteva, već ista ostaje memorisana na serveru. Pristup nalogu elektronske pošte na serveru ili prikupljanje podataka o korisničkom nalogu od strane pružaoca usluga umnogome smanjuje količinu posla forenzičkom istražiocu. Ako pristup nije dozvoljen, do web mail poruka može se doći pregledom radne i keš memorije. Kada korisnik proverava poruke, ili sastavlja novu, operativni sistem sačuva podatke sa ekrana na hard disku, pogotovo ako korisniku treba više  vreme da sastavi poruku. Privremeni dokumenti Operativni sistemi privremene dokumente kreiraju za aplikacije koje šalju i primaju podatke preko mreže. Ti se podaci prvo skladište u radnoj memoriji, a kada se ista popuni, operativni sistem pomera podatke niže na listu prioriteta podataka koji su potrebni aplikacijama i zapisuje ih na tvrdi disk. Ne postoji posebno i jedinstveno područje gde se čuvaju privremeni dokumenti jer neke aplikacije stvaraju dodatne privremene datoteke uz one što ih stvara operativni sistem. Aplikacije koje nemaju mogućnost privremenog čuvanja podataka, prepuštaju operativnom sistemu da ih memoriše koristeći swap datoteke ili virtualnu memoriju. Kada aplikaciji zatreba privremeno sačuvani podatak, operativni sistem ga šalje aplikaciji i briše sa hard diska. Outcomes from a US military neurology and traumatic brain injury telemedicine program.

This study evaluated usage of the Army Knowledge Online (AKO) Telemedicine Consultation Program for neurology and traumatic brain injury (TBI) cases in remote overseas areas with limited access to subspecialists. We performed a descriptive analysis of quantity of consults, response times, sites where consults originated, military branches that benefitted, anatomic locations of problems, and diagnoses. This was a retrospective analysis that searched electronic databases for neurology consults from October 2006 to December 2010 and TBI consults from March 2008 to December 2010. A total of 508 consults were received for neurology, and 131 consults involved TBI. For the most part, quantity of consults increased over the years. Meanwhile, response times decreased, with a mean response time of 8 hours, 14 minutes for neurology consults and 2 hours, 44 minutes for TBI consults. Most neurology consults originated in Iraq (67.59%) followed by Afghanistan (16.84%), whereas TBI consults mainly originated from Afghanistan (40.87%) followed by Iraq (33.91%). The most common consultant diagnoses were headaches, including migraines (52.1%), for neurology cases and mild TBI/concussion (52.3%) for TBI cases. In the majority of cases, consultants recommended in-theater management. After receipt of consultant's recommendation, 84 known neurology evacuations were facilitated, and 3 known neurology evacuations were prevented. E-mail-based neurology and TBI subspecialty teleconsultation is a viable method for overseas providers in remote locations to receive expert recommendations for a range of neurologic conditions. These recommendations can facilitate medically necessary patient evacuations or prevent evacuations for which on-site care is preferable.

Fructose-induced increases in expression of intestinal fructolytic and gluconeogenic genes are regulated by GLUT5 and KHK

Marked increases in fructose consumption have been tightly linked to metabolic diseases. One-third of ingested fructose is metabolized in the small intestine, but the underlying mechanisms regulating expression of fructose-metabolizing enzymes are not known. We used genetic mouse models to test the hypothesis that fructose absorption via glucose transporter protein, member 5 (GLUT5), metabolism via ketohexokinase (KHK), as well as GLUT5 trafficking to the apical membrane via the Ras-related protein in brain 11a (Rab11a)-dependent endosomes are required for the regulation of intestinal fructolytic and gluconeogenic enzymes. Fructose feeding increased the intestinal mRNA and protein expression of these enzymes in the small intestine of adult wild-type (WT) mice compared with those gavage fed with lysine or glucose. Fructose did not increase expression of these enzymes in the GLUT5 knockout (KO) mice. Blocking intracellular fructose metabolism by KHK ablation also prevented fructose-induced upregulation. Glycolytic hexokinase I expression was similar between WT and GLUT5- or KHK-KO mice and did not vary with feeding solution. Gavage feeding with the fructose-specific metabolite glyceraldehyde did not increase enzyme expression, suggesting that signaling occurs before the hydrolysis of fructose to three-carbon compounds. Impeding GLUT5 trafficking to the apical membrane using intestinal epithelial cell-specific Rab11a-KO mice impaired fructose-induced upregulation. KHK expression was uniformly distributed along the villus but was localized mainly in the basal region of the cytosol of enterocytes. The feedforward upregulation of fructolytic and gluconeogenic enzymes specifically requires GLUT5 and KHK and may proactively enhance the intestine's ability to process anticipated increases in dietary fructose concentrations. Transport, metabolism, and endosomal trafficking-dependent regulation of intestinal fructose absorption

Dietary fructose that is linked to metabolic abnormalities can up-regulate its own absorption, but the underlying regulatory mechanisms are not known. We hypothesized that glucose transporter (GLUT) protein, member 5 (GLUT5) is the primary fructose transporter and that fructose absorption via GLUT5, metabolism via ketohexokinase (KHK), as well as GLUT5 trafficking to the apical membrane via the Ras-related protein-in-brain 11 (Rab11)a-dependent endosomes are each required for regulation. Introducing fructose but not lysine and glucose solutions into the lumen increased by 2- to 10-fold the heterogeneous nuclear RNA, mRNA, protein, and activity levels of GLUT5 in adult wild-type mice consuming chow. Levels of GLUT5 were >100-fold that of candidate apical fructose transporters GLUTs 7, 8, and 12 whose expression, and that of GLUT 2 and the sodium-dependent glucose transporter protein 1 (SGLT1), was not regulated by luminal fructose. GLUT5-knockout (KO) mice exhibited no facilitative fructose transport and no compensatory increases in activity and expression of SGLT1 and other GLUTs. Fructose could not up-regulate GLUT5 in GLUT5-KO, KHK-KO, and intestinal epithelial cell-specific Rab11a-KO mice. The fructose-specific metabolite glyceraldehyde did not increase GLUT5 expression. Ukrasti snimku? upita svog muža i počne plakati.U zadnjih tjedan dana bila je u tom dućanu već tri ili četiri puta. Jedan od onih gdje moraš ostaviti torbu na blagajni, inače te ne puste unutra. Moraš ostaviti i kaput, ako ima duboke, prostrane džepove. I kišobran, jer bi ljudi u nabore mogli ubacivati sitne predmete, češljeve, nakit i druge drangulije. Kraj starog blagajnika stoji sivi karton na kojem crnim markerom piše: “Ne volimo kad nas kradete!”Skidajući kaput, Claire reče: “Ja nisam lopov.”Stari blagajnik pogledom ju je odmjerio od glave do pete. An Orientation, Stockholm-Lund 1964 (koji predstavlja dotjerani i ažurirani prijevod švedskog originala iz 1959. god. i o kome v. recenziju koju smo objavili u »ZFLMS« X, Novi Sad 1967, str. 181-188, ova je odlična monografija namijenjena uzem krugu čitalaca koji već imaju dovoljnih znanja iz lingvistike i fonetike ili iz društvenih i prirodnih nauka, kojima su od koristi tekovine i metode suvremene lingvistike (psihologija, fonijatrija, logoterapija, metodika učenja stranih jezika, nauka o komunikacijama i sl.. Autor, ugledni romanist i profesor fonetike na sveučilištu u Lundu, a od nedavna i na Sorbonni, svijestan je opasnosti da će lingvistika, prikazana prvenstveno kao znanost koja studira jezično komuniciranje ljudi, nužno morati da se pozabavi i vrlo širokim krugom problema pa će tako neka poglavlja ispasti za jedne čitaoce prekomplicirapa a za druge preelementarna. Drugačije međutim nije moglo biti ako se željelo na relativno malenom prostoru prikazati tako različite pojmove kao sto su fonemi i značenje, decibeli i jezicna promjena, knjizevni stil i govorne smetnje. Metodski pristup gradi i kompozicija sasvim su drugačiji nego u New Trends in Linguistics. Dok su tamo poglavlja posvečena pojedinim lingvističkim školama i pravcima (a samo indirektno i nekim skupinama problema ukoliko se neka škola uglavnom njiina bavila, ova je monografija obrađena problemski.

Full Text Available Između ponoći i jednog sata oživi sve ono za što glupi ljudi vjeruju da oživjeti ne može. Ali zaista, mnogobrojne stvari koje inače samo ukočeno i mirno leže, kao da ne mogu reći ni „dobar dan“, sve one u to vrijeme ožive. I ne brinu mnogo o tome vjeruju li glupi ljudi u to ili ne. Tako i u tom starom gradiću oživje sve kada sat sa zvonika crkve Presvete Djevice Marije s dvanaest muklih, teških udaraca otkuca ponoć. Kamenje na pločniku počelo je razgovarati s vlatima trave koja je među njim rasla i pitalo je koliko još misli ostati. Zabati i erkeri kuća u uskim zamršenim uličicama kimali su jedni drugima, a ulične svjetiljke žalile su se na vjetar; prehladile su se jer on tako bezobzirno mijenja smjer.Također oživje sve i u starom vinskom podrumu staroga gradića. Mnogobrojne bačve koje stajahu jedne pokraj drugih, velike i male, zijevnuše i protegnuše se i ispružiše se, a kad bi jedna drugu pritom gurnula, rekla bi: „Oh, tisuću puta oprostite!“ Jer bačve su vrlo pristojne i znaju se lijepo ponašati. Tada bi sve uspravno stale na svoje debele nožice – naime, bačve imaju nožice, ako glupi ljudi ne znaju ni to – i sve bi se klanjale jedne drugima i kimale si i pozdravljale se na sve stane.

Full Text Available Pomorsko dobro oduvijek je bio prostor koji je kao najinteresantniji dio teritorija svake države, pa i Republike Hrvatske, bio izložen najrazličitijim nasrtajima (primjerice izgradnja marina, apartmanskih naselja, nasipanja mora i sl.. Granica pomorskog dobra počela je biti jako važna onoga časa kada su se na morskoj obali masovnije počeli graditi raznorazni objekti (vikendice, luke, plaže, turistički objekti i sl.. U Republici Hrvatskoj pomorsko dobro je opće dobro na kojem vlast ima država te ona za njega brine, održava ga i odgovara za njega. Prema mnijenju autora do sada se postupak određivanja granice pomorskog dobra te njezino evidentiranje u katastar i zemljišnu knjigu ne može ocijeniti zadovoljavajućom ocjenom. Ako se ima na umu da je prostor koji danas zauzima Republika Hrvatska često kroz povijest mijenjao državnu pripadnost onda i ne čudi anarhija na pomorskom dobru koja traje do danas. Stoga, sve do danas nije (razriješen problem stečenih prava na pomorskom dobru. Autori daju prikaz stvarnih prava za koja su mnijenja da se mogu smatrati stečenim na pravno valjan način. Nadalje, prikazuje se pravorijek Trgovačkog suda u Rijeci koji je razriješio (nevlasničke odnose u luci posebne namjene – brodogradilištu kao i pravorijek Visokog trgovačkog suda Republike Hrvatske koji je razmatrao razlučna prava na narečenoj luci posebne namjene. Na kraju rada autori iznose svoj stav na razmatranoj problematici te moguća rješenja de lege ferenda.

Detection of tritium in the air surrounding the heavy water reactors; Elementi detekcije tricijuma u vazduhu kod teskovodnih nuklearnih reaktora

This paper contains the study of the literature concerned with physical properties of the tritium, problems of detection control of the tritium level in the atmosphere in the vicinity of heavy water reactors. It is stated that a complete and efficient control of tritium activity, from radiation protection point of view can be achieved only by simultaneous triple measurements: direct measurement of tritium in the air by stationary or movable instruments; air sampling and measurement of activity by laboratory instrumentation; and measurement of tritium in the bio-material of the personnel who have inhaled air contaminated with tritium. Laboratory equipment was adapted for tritium detection in air samples. A method for measuring the specific tritium activity was developed and implemented. The tritium level and distribution in the air were measured during exchange of the fuel channel in the RA reactor. The obtained results indicate that tritium could be dangerous for the staff involved. Proucena je literatura u kojoj se tretiraju osnovne fizicke karakteristike tricijuma, kao i problemi detekcije i kontrole u vazduhu kod teskovodnih nuklearnih reaktora. Utvrdjeno je da kompletna i efikasna kontrola aktivnosti tricijuma, sa aspekta zastite od zracenja, moze biti ostvarena samo ako se vrse istovremeno trostruka merenja: merenje aktivnosti tricijuma u vazduhu direktno, prenosnim ili stacioniranim instrumentima; uzimanje uzoraka vazduha i merenje aktivnosti na laboratorijskoj aparaturi; i merenje aktivnosti tricijuma u biomaterijalu osoblja koje je udisalo vazduh kontaminiran tricijumom. Izvrsena je adaptacija laboratorijske aparature za potrebe detekcije tricijuma u uzorcima vazduha. Razradjen je i uhodan postupak merenja koncentracije aktivnosti tricijuma u uzorcima vazduha. Izvrsena su merenja i dobijeni su rezultati o nivou i raspodeli tricijuma u vazduhu pri operaciji zamene kanala sa gorivom na reaktoru RA u Vinci. Full Text Available Pravni problemi morske obale je rad koncipiran na način da predstavi važeće zakonodavstvo do ulaska Hrvatske u Europsku uniju te pozitivno zakonodavstvo nakon ulaska u Europsku uniju, skupa s dostupnom nam sudskom praksom europskih sudova, a sve u odnosu na problematiku morske obale kao dijela pomorskog dobra Republike Hrvatske. U radu se apostrofira nepoznavanje ili nedovoljno poznavanje zakonodavca prilikom donošenja propisa koji tangiraju problematiku morske obale, čime unose nedosljednosti i zabunu u primjenu referentnih propisa te u konačnici i pravnu nesigurnost u ovoj oblasti u Republici Hrvatskoj. Naznačuju se i mogući pravci rješavanja uočenih problema kroz prijedloge primjene integralnog upravljanja morskom obalom uz anticipiranje nekih novih rješenja i ukazivanje na obvezu pridržavanja europskog zakonodavstva i posebno precedentnih odluka nadležnih europskih sudova. Zaključno se ukazuje da naši teoretičari i praktičari koji se bave reguliranjem materije koja se referira na morsku obalu, nažalost, ne uvažavaju propise i sudsku praksu Europske unije koji su postali sastavni dio našeg pozitivnog zakonodavstva. Stoga se Republika Hrvatska izlaže opasnosti da ju Europska unija kao i pojedini zainteresirani subjekti prozivaju za nepoštivanje prava i sankcioniraju u smislu europske sudske prakse, a da te opasnosti nismo uopće svjesni. Isto tako, gledanje na morsku obalu kao prirodni resurs koji u Hrvatskoj ni izdaleka nije iskorišten na adekvatan način, je nužnost koja se nameće Hrvatskoj kao jednoj prezaduženoj zemlji ako želi gospodarski napredak kako države tako i njenih stanovnika.

Ako se razmatraju procjene koje obuhvaćaju i otapanje grenlandskog i antarktičkog ledenog pokrova, tada se može očekivati porast morske razine od 5 i više m. Sukladno s globalnim promjenama, razina Jadranskog mora također je u porastu. Radi analize potencijalne ugroženosti hrvatske obale od porasta morske razine, izrađena su tri modela porasta razine Jadranskog mora (od 1 m, 3 m i 6 m. Na temelju modela analizira se utjecaj porasta morske razine na različite socioekonomske segmente obalnog prostora. Cilj je istraživanja definirati najugroženije dijelove hrvatske obale. Kako bi se mogli diferencirati najugroženiji dijelovi, izrađen je Indeks ugroženosti obalnih općina ( . U izradi Indeksa koristili su se analizom utjecaja dobiveni kvantitativni podaci o prostornom obuhvatu poplavnih zona te ugroženosti stanovništva i prometne infrastrukture obalne zone. Navedenim su varijablama s pomoću Analitičkog hijerarhijskog procesa (AHP pridruženi različiti težinski koeficijenti, ovisno o važnosti varijable. Pri analizi svih triju modela uočeno je kako se Zadar i njegova okolica ističu kao najugroženije područje hrvatske obale. Zbog toga je na primjeru Zadra izvršena znatno detaljnija analiza mikrolokacijskog utjecaja porasta morske razine. Podaci dobiveni analizom različitih modela pokazuju kako je gotovo cijela hrvatska obala ugrožena, ali i da postoji velik nerazmjer u razini ugroženosti pojedinih dijelova hrvatske obale. Važnost je ovog istraživanja u tome što ono predstavlja temelj za pravovremenu adaptaciju na negativne utjecaje budućeg porasta razine Jadranskog mora.

Full Text Available Pestovanie energetickych rastlin a drevin na poľnohospodarskej pode a ďalšie využitie ich energie predstavuje zasadny vyznam pre realizaciu dlhodobej strategie Slovenska v oblasti ziskavania a využivania obnoviteľnych zdrojov energie (OZE. Energeticke rastliny spĺňaju ciele strategie Europa 2020 a prispievaju k diverzifi kacii energetickych zdrojov. Prispevok vychadza z pravnych predpisov EU a narodnej legislativy upravujucej OZE. Analyzovane su Smernica 2009/28/ES Europskeho parlamentu a Rady z 23. aprila 2009 o podpore využivania energie z obnoviteľnych zdrojov a o zmene a naslednom zrušeni smernic 2001/77/ES a 2003/30/ES. Tema obnoviteľnych zdrojov energie je integrovana do Programu rozvoja vidieka 2014 - 2020. Konkretne Akčny plan pre biomasu 2008-2013, Strategia vyššieho využitia obnoviteľnych zdrojov energie na Slovensku a Strategia energetickej bezpečnosti Slovenska bola prijata až do roku 2030. Trvalo udržateľne využivanie poľnohospodarskej pody, jeho riadenie a využivanie, ako aj ochrana jeho kvality a funkcie su upravene zakonom č 220/2004 Zb. o ochrane a využivani poľnohospodarskej pody a ktorym sa meni zakon č. 245/2003 Zb., o integrovanej prevencii a kontrole znečisťovania životneho prostredia a o zmene niektorych zakonov v zneni neskoršich predpisov, ktory nadobudol učinnosť 1. maja 2004. Zakon č. 57/2013 Zb., ktory je platny od 1. aprila 2013, stanovuje zasady a postup zriaďovania plantaži rychlorastucich drevin na poľnohospodarskej pode. Slovenska pravna uprava zaviedla register rychlo rastucich drevin na každom okresnom urade (72, na pozemkovom a lesnom odbore na Slovensku. Prieskum tychto registrov ukazuje, že tato pravna uprava podporuje poľnohospodarov, aby začali použivať marginalne pody pre rychlo rastuce dreviny.

Full Text Available Suradnja sa znanstvenicima iz drugih područja znanosti ili drugih zemalja važna je općenito za napredak znanosti, osobito za znanstvenike koji djeluju u malim i perifernim znanstvenim zajednicama. Cilj je ovog istraživanja bio ispitati postoje li mrežni (strukturni efekti na vjerojatnost da će pojedini znanstvenik ostvariti koautorstvo/suradnju izvan svoje nacionalne i disciplinarne zajednice. Na temelju podataka o koautorstvu na publikacijama indeksiranim u dvjema međunarodnim bazama (Web of Science i Scopus i jednoj nacionalnoj bazi (Nacionalna i sveučilišna knjižnica konstruirana je mreža koautorstva za tri područja društvenih znanosti u Hrvatskoj. Testirana su tri strukturna prediktora (aktivnost, zaraza i popularnost /Ego-2Star/, a korištenje autologističkih modela atributa aktera omogućilo je istovremeno kontroliranje šest atributa aktera. Rezultati su potvrdili hipotezu o postojanju pozitivnog učinka zaraze (vjerojatnost suradnje sa znanstvenicima izvan nacionalne i disciplinarne mreže veća je ako neposredni alter u mreži također ima vanjske suradnje i negativnog učinka aktivnosti (oni koji surađuju s jednim ili više znanstvenika izvan svoje mreže, manje surađuju unutar svoje mreže u mreži obrazovnih znanosti. Međutim, u mreži sociologa utvrđen je samo efekt negativne aktivnosti, dok u mreži psihologa nijedan strukturni efekt nije bio značajan prediktor suradnje izvan uže zajednice. Pronađen je značajan efekt broja radova napisanih u koautorstvu, ali ne i broja jednoautorskih radova, te dobi u svim trima poljima. Spol, lokacija i maksimalna snaga veze imali su različitu ulogu u trima istraživanim poljima. U radu su naglašeni metodološki aspekti analize mreža koautorstva i predlažu smjernice za buduća istraživanja.

Full Text Available Izmjene Protokola iz 1996. godine (LLMC 1996 Međunarodne konvencije o ograničenju odgovornosti za pomorske tražbine iz 1976. godine (LLMC 1976 usvojene su 19. travnja 2012. na 99. zasjedanju Pravnog odbora IMO-a održanom u Londonu. Tim izmjenama iznos općeg (globalnog ograničenja odgovornosti za pomorske tražbine povećan je za 51% u odnosu na iznose iz čl. 3. LLMC 1996 koji se odnose na čl. 6.1(a i 6.1(b, LLMC 1976, dok iznosi iz čl. 7. Konvencije nisu mijenjani. Povećani iznosi primjenjivat će se od 8. lipnja 2015. godine. U radu se analiziraju razlozi koji su doveli do povećanja iznosa općeg (globalnog ograničenja odgovornosti kao i opravdanost ovog povećanja iznosa ograničenja odgovornosti ako se uzme u obzir da je samo u 1,34% slučajeva šteta prelazila sadašnji iznos ograničenja odgovornosti utvrđen u LLMC 1996. Analiziraju se pravne i ekonomske posljedice ovog povećanja iznosa općeg ograničenja odgovornosti te njegov neposredan utjecaj na druge međunarodne konvencije vezane na iznose općeg ograničenja odgovornosti kao što su Bunker konvencija iz 2001. i Međunarodna konvencija o uklanjanju podrtina iz 2007. godine. Upozorava se, međutim, da tendencija koja vodi prema previsokim iznosima ograničenja odgovornosti može izazvati smanjenje interesa država za ratifikacijom LLMC 1996 što će se negativno odraziti na unifikaciju prava u odnosu na ovo pitanje. U radu se stoga razmatraju rješenja koja bi omogućila pravednu naknadu oštećenima i ostvarenje svrhe instituta ograničenja odgovornosti, a ne bi ugrozila unifikacijska nastojanja.

Full Text Available V období 2008-201 3 bolo orlami královskými obsadených 32 rôznych hniezdnych teritórií. Tieto územia sa nachádzajú najmä v dvoch oblastiach: pohorie Derventa/Yıldız a územie na sever od Marmarského mora. Najbližšia vzdialenost medzi hniezdiskami bola 4,2 km. Stredná vzdialenost medzi pármi bola 1 0,44 ± 2,95 km. Priemerná hodnota hniezdnej úspešnosti v období 2008-201 3 vrátane 1 07 prípadov inkubácii bola 1 ,01±0,1 0. Priemerná hniezdna úspešnost vtákov v Marmarskom regióne (1 ,05±0,78 bola vyššia ako v oblasti pohorí Derventa/Yıldız (0,91±0,84. Predkladaná štúdia potravy orla královského bola založená na 582 zvyškoch koristi, obsahujúcej minimálne 70 taxónov. Cicavce boli najrozšírenejšie skupinou (46.5 %, nasledované vtákmi (32,4 % a plazmi (20,3 %. Najcastejšou koristou bol jež bledý (Erinaceus roumanicus a dva druhy korytnaciek - korytnacka zelenkastá (Eurotestudo hermanni a korytnacka grécka (Testudo graeca, ktoré dohromady predstavovali celkom 1 4,4 % z ulovenej koristi. Potravné spektrum sledovaných párov obsahoval tieto druhy koristi: cajka žltonohá (Larus michahellis, sysel pasienkový (Spermophilus citellus, domáca sliepka (Gallus gallus f. domestica a bocian biely (Ciconia ciconia. Tieto druhy dohromady tvorili 67,8 % z ulovenej koristi. Bol preukázaný štatisticky významný rozdiel (Z=2,52, p=0,01 v preferencii potravy orlov královských v oboch študovaných oblastiach.

Full Text Available Kolektívna flotácia a zavážanie (TFB boli navrhnuté ako ve¾mi výhodný technologický postup pre dosiahnutie trvalého rozvoja pri podzemnej ažbe polymetalických rúd v Peru. Táto technológia zlepšuje ekonomiku, znaène znižuje väèšinu environmentálnych problémov, ktoré súvisia s prevádzkovaním jemných odpadov, kyslými vodami a nadmerným používaním chemikálií v úpravniach.Kolektívna flotácia (TF je založená na mimoriadne hrubom mletí a flotácii sulfidov neželezných kovov s výnimkou pyritu. Získaný produkt je kolektívny koncentrát s hmotnosou 15-25 % hmotnosti vyaženej rudy. Postup umožòuje ve¾mi jednoduchú schému aplikácie flotaèného režimu a flotaèného okruhu bez stupòov triedenia, zahusovania a filtrácie. Úpravne pracujúce v TF režime sú tak malé, že ich je možné inštalova v podzemí, èím sa znaène znížia náklady a infraštruktúra potrebné pre manipuláciu s rudou a jej dopravou na povrch.Odpady z TF prevádzkovanej v podzemí sú hrubozrné takže je možné ich zavážanie bez predchádzajúceho triedenia za úèelom odstránenia jemných podielov. Tým sa znižuje množstvo odpadu, ktoré sa má èerpa na povrch až na 5-10 % hmotnosti vyaženej rudy. Kolektívny koncentrát sa èerpá na povrch, kde sa premie¾a a separuje na koncentráty Cu, Pb a Zn a pyritový koncentrát. V prípade Peru táto separaèná jednotka (SP môže by vzdialená od miesta ažby.V prípade novej baníckej technológie TFB dochádza k dramatickým zmenám pri návrhu a projektovaní banského diela. Technológiu TFB je možné tiež úspešne aplikova v jestvujúcich baniach, kde je nutné aži hlboko uložené ložiská. V tejto práci sa popisujú skúšky s TFB technológiou pre Zn-Pb ložisko ve¾kej håbky. V týchto skúškach sa dosiahli výažnosti pre Zn a Pb do 90 % pre koncentrát tvoriaci 15 % vyaženej rudy pri hrubom mletí (25 % - 200 mesh pri

Full Text Available Godina 2017. u svjetskim je razmjerima bila iznimno dinamična godina. Obilježila su je različita zbivanja koja u našem globalnom selu imaju posvemašnji utjecaj bilo da je riječ o prirodnim katastrofama (uragani, požari, poplave i potresi ili onima na koje je znatno više utjecaja imala ljudska ruka, od terorističkih samoubilačkih napada, nuklearnog mahnitanja sjevernokorejskog vođe Kim Jong Una, neobičnog predsjednikovanja Donalda Trumpa ili, ako pogledamo bliže našem dvorištu, migrantskih valova, pokretanja postupka britanskog izlaska iz Europske unije te pokušaja katalonske vlade da izbori neovisnost od Španjolske. Istodobno tu su godinu u Hrvatskoj obilježile duboke društvene podjele, ideološke svađe te iseljavanje znatnog broja građana. Nezadovoljstvo koje hrvatski građani osjećaju i izražavaju prema stanju u državi, funkcioniranju njezinih institucija i pravcu u kojem zemlja ide daje nam pravo, ali nas i obvezuje, svakog pojedinačno i društvo u cjelini, upitati se što smo učinili u proteklih nemalih dva i pol desetljeća, odnosno jesmo li učinili dovoljno kako bismo opravdali stečenu neovisnost o kojoj su brojne generacije prije nas sanjale. Upravo je protek čak četvrt stoljeća od stjecanja neovisnosti bio poticaj prof. Budislavu Vukasu, mlađem da se u godini obilježavanja 25. godišnjice prijama Republike Hrvatske u Ujedinjene narode (22. svibnja, ali i obljetnice njezina međunarodnog priznanja (15. siječnja, pozabavi pitanjem hrvatske državnosti u prošlosti i njezinu kontinuitetu/diskontinuitetu kroz stoljeća. Rezultat njegova istraživanja je monografija Hrvatska državnost – pravnopovijesne prosudbe u izdanju Pravnog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Rijeci. Full Text Available The following paper deals with the problematic category of authorship in ancient philosophical literature. Philosophers are divided into two groups: the first consist of non-writing protagonists (e. g. Socrates, Ammonius of Saccas, while the second category includes writing authors (e. g. Plato, Aristotle. Paper argues that with regard to their „historicity“, between these two groups of philosophers is no substantial difference. Philosophical texts were often written in co-authorship. Many students and later adherents passed their own doctrines off as teacherʼs originals. Moreover, due to the fact that the very texts were transcribed countless times, there is no certainty about original phrasing of the documents that came down to our modern or renaissance era. The „historicity“ of philosophersʼ attitudes and ideas therefore can not be deduced from the existence of authorized text, written by some particular author.

The Liquid Phase Methanol (LPMEOW) Demonstration Project at Kingsport Tennessee, is a $213.7 million cooperative agreement between the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Air Products Liquid Phase Conversion Company, L.P. (the Partnership) to produce methanol from coal-derived synthesis gas (syngas). Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (Air Products) and Eastman Chemical Company (Eastman) formed the Partnership to execute the Demonstration Project. The LPMEOW Process Demonstration Unit was built at a site located at the Eastman complex in Kingsport. During this quarter, initial planning and procurement work began on the seven project sites which have been accepted for participation in the off-site, methanol product-use test plan. Two of the projects have begun pre-testing of equipment and three other projects have commenced with equipment procurement, Methanol produced from carbon monoxide (CO)- rich syngas at the Alternative Fuels Development Unit (AFDU) in LaPorte, TX has been shipped to four of the project sites in anticipation of the start of testing during the first quarter of calendar year 1998. Catalyst activity, as defined by the ratio of the rate constant at any point in time to the rate constant for a freshly reduced catalyst (as determined in the laboratory autoclave), continued to decline more rapidly than expected. In response to concentrations of arsenic and sulfbr detected on catalyst samples from the LPMEOW Reactor, Eastman replaced both the arsine- and sulfiwremoval material in the Eastman guard bed which treats the primary syngas feed stream (&danced Gas) prior to its introduction into both the Eastman fixed-bed methanol plant and the LPMEOWM Demonstration Unit. After restarting the demonstration unit, the catalyst deactivation rate remained essentially unchanged. PiaP, we were able to gather 1762 main keywords and 9655 derivatives of main keywords. In addition, we compiled 823,869 spelling variations. Keywords included negatively-valenced words like "sad", "unworthy", or "tired" which are almost always accompanied by personal pronouns, such as "I", "I'm" or "my" and in Filipino, "ako" or "ko". For the content validation, only keywords with CVR equal to or more than 0.75 were included in the depression lexicon test-run version. The mean of all CVRs yielded a high overall CVI of 0.90. A total of 1498 main keywords, 8911 derivatives of main keywords, and 783,140 spelling variations, with a total of 793, 553 keywords now comprise the test-run version. The generation of the depression lexicon is relatively exhaustive. The breadth of keywords used in text analysis incorporates the characteristic expressions of depression and its related constructs by a particular culture and age group. A content-validated mobile health app, PiaP may help augment a more effective and early detection of depressive symptoms.

Full Text Available This paper outlines the history of the annual school reports publishing on the terri-tory of Slovakia. It also provides the basic bibliographic sources in which the annual school reports are registered. The annual school reports began to be systematically published in the second half of the 19th century. Also the Jewish schools, which history is much older (e. g. a school existed at the synagogue in Bratislava as early as 1416 published them. During the extensive research in libraries in Slovakias well as 21 titles of the annual school reports of some Jewish schools published in Slovakia until 1918 were found. The annual school reports of the primary schools, business schools, religious schools (the so-called talmudtóra, boys‘ schools, girls‘ schools and co-educational schools are among them. The content of the annual school reports of Jewish schools is presented in the example of the annual school report of the boys‘ public school associated with the business school in Bratislava and public school in Liptovsky Mikulas. As artefacts of book culture they are an especially a rich source of information about a particular school, they document publishing activities of a school or its founders and complete the knowledge about production of individual printers and printing houses. Through the ownership stamps and records they provide information about previous owners and assist in the reconstruction of the library stocks. At the moment known annual school reports of Jewish schools are certainly only a part of a larger, not yet fully discovered corpus (e. g. we can assume the existence of the annual school reports of the higher schools - yeshivas in Hebrew. Their systematic research, documentation and expert processing should become part of research and protection of Jewish cultural heritage in Slovakia.

zahvat, koji se odnosi na zamenu celokupne instrumentacije je u toku, ali njegova realizacija u 1991. godini kasni zbog zastoja u isporuci opreme koja se izradjuje u Sovjetskom savezu. Izradu ove opreme finansira Medjunarodna agencija za atomsku energiju kroz ugovor sklopljen decembra 1988. godine sa moskovskom firmom Atomenergoexport. Prema tom ugovoru trebalo je da celokupna nova instrumentacija za reaktor RA bude isporucena Institutu u Vinci do kraja 1990. godine, ali je do septembra 1991. godine isporuceno svega 56% od predvidjene kolicine. Od tada je svaka isporuka obustavljena, a razlog je privremena zabrana na sve isporuke opreme za Jugoslaviju izrecena od strane ove organizacije Ujedinjenih nacija. U 1991. godini na reaktoru RA je demontirana postojeca instrumentacija u maksimalno mogucem obimu, kako bi se zadrzala neka osnovna merenja neophodna i u uslovima kada reaktor nije u pogonu. Pri kraju je izrada odredjenih konstrukcionih elemenata za novu instrumentaciju, koju je prihvatio da realizuje Institut u Vinci, kako bi se ubrzala realizacija ovog projekta. Ako sva predvijena oprema ne bude isporucena do kraja marta 1992. godine, nece moci da se otpocne sa probnim radom reaktora u prvoj polovini 1993. godine, kako je planirano. Na realizaciji projekta u 1991. godini ucestvovalo je efektivno 53 radnika, sto je dovoljan broj u uslovima remontnih i investicionih radova. Godisnji izvestaj o radu nuklearnog reaktora RA za 1992. godinu sastoji se od dva dela: prvi deo obuhvata pogon i odzavanje reaktora RA, a drugi poslove zastite od zracenja na reaktoru RA.

U 20. stoljeću oformio se, između ostalih, pristup da je zadatak prevoditelja prijevodom oponašati izvorno lirsko djelo, a uz to što prijevod treba preslikavati original, on također treba zadržati i njegovu poetsku vrijednost te u ciljnom jeziku funkcionirati kao samostalna poetska forma (bez glosa, komentara ili fusnota. Budući da je svaka pjesma priča za sebe, svaki je prevoditelj pri definiranju prioriteta (zvučnost? semantika? rima? ritam? prepušten samom sebi i konstantno se suočava s izborima (Jones (citat u Connolly 174 prevođenje poezije naziva “umjetnošću kompromisa”. W. S. Merwin opisuje svoj pristup prevođenju poezije na sljedeći način: “Znate, i dalje vjerujem da ne znam kako se prevodi i da to nitko ne zna. To je nemoguć, ali nužan proces, ne postoji savršen način da se on izvede i velik njegov dio mora se oblikovati u hodu za svaku pojedinačnu pjesmu.”

NASA's Chandra Reveals Origin of Key Cosmic Explosions

WASHINGTON -- New findings from NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory have provided a major advance in understanding a type of supernova critical for studying the dark energy that astronomers think pervades the universe. The results show mergers of two dense stellar remnants are the likely cause of many of the supernovae that have been used to measure the accelerated expansion of the universe. These supernovae, called Type Ia, serve as cosmic mile markers to measure expansion of the universe because they can be seen at large distances, and they follow a reliable pattern of brightness. However, until now, scientists have been unsure what actually causes the explosions. "These are such critical objects in understanding the universe," said Marat Gilfanov of the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Germany and lead author of the study that appears in the Feb. 18 edition of the journal Nature. "It was a major embarrassment that we did not know how they worked. Now we are beginning to understand what lights the fuse of these explosions." Most scientists agree a Type Ia supernova occurs when a white dwarf star -- a collapsed remnant of an elderly star -- exceeds its weight limit, becomes unstable and explodes. Scientists have identified two main possibilities for pushing the white dwarf over the edge: two white dwarfs merging or accretion, a process in which the white dwarf pulls material from a sun-like companion star until it exceeds its weight limit. "Our results suggest the supernovae in the galaxies we studied almost all come from two white dwarfs merging," said co-author Akos Bogdan, also of Max Planck. "This is probably not what many astronomers would expect." The difference between these two scenarios may have implications for how these supernovae can be used as "standard candles" -- objects of a known brightness -- to track vast cosmic distances. sprchový systém s ventilátormi. Aktivity a odpočinok zvierat boli hodnotené v 10 minútových intervaloch pomocou kamerového systému po dobu 24 hodín. K štatistickému vyhodnoteniu získaných údajov bola pouţitá neparametrická Kruskal-Wallisová jednofaktorová analýza rozptylu a mnohonásobný porovnávací test k zisťovaniu preukaznosti rozdielov jednotlivých prejavov správania medzi skupinami dojníc. Zvýšené prúdenie vzduchu ventilátormi malo pozitívny účinok a zosilnilo ochladzovací efekt zvierat vyuţívajúcich evaporačné ochladzovanie sprchovým systémom. Bolo zistené preukazné predĺţenie celkovej doby leţania a skrátenie doby státia. Zvieratá v skupine SV so sprchami a ventilátormi leţali v boxoch dlhšie ako v skupine S so sprchami bez ventilátorov (10.76 h*d-1*ks-1 oproti 7.71 h*d-1*ks-1, P<0.001. Celkové leţanie v skupine SV predstavovalo 11.31 h*d-1*ks-1a v skupine S 10.22 h*d-1*ks-1. Menej ochladzované zvieratá v skupine bez ventilátorov preukazne viac zalíhali do chodby (2.52 h*d-1*ks-1 oproti 0.56 h*d-1*ks-1, P<0.001, a to aj v nočnom období.

Despues de dejarlas enfriar durante un dfa, para que las proteinas se asentasen, se cortaron en pastelillos de 3/8 pulg. de espesor, se envasaron en latas y se sometieron a una dosis de irradiacion de 4,5 Mrad. Los productos radioesterilizados se almacenaron durante 12 meses a 72 Degree-Sign F, y se sometieron a examenes periodicos para evaluar la calidad y el efecto de varios tratamientos. Los tratamientos que se aplicaron fueron: envasado al vacfo, adicion de varios antioxidantes y empleo de paquetes de carbon vegetal. Antes de servirlos, los pastelillos fueron rebozados en besamela y empanados, y se frieron bien. La coniestibilidad de los pastelillos se estudio por medio de grupos de catadores y de mediciones objetivas, tales como contenido total de bases volatiles, fndice de acido 2-tiobarbiturico, pH e indice de reflectancia cromatica. El sabor de los productos recibio puntuaciones aceptables de grupos de catadores (140 a 170 personas) durante 12 meses'de almacenamiento a 72 Degree-Sign F. Aunque los catadores prefirieron las muestras testigo no irradiadas a los productos irradiados, todos los pastelillos irradiados almacenados puntuaron en la parte positiva de la escala hedonfstica de 9 puntos. Los indices de reflectancia cromatica de los productos alimenticios marinos radioesterilizados pueden utilizarse para medir el dorado producido por la irradiacion y parecen guardar correlacion con la duracion del almacenamiento. В статье представлены экспериментальные результаты наряду с результатами моделирования, а также анализ результатов процесса идентификации неизвестных параметров модели. / Cilj rada je da se istaknu, ako ne sve, a ono bar najvažnije prednosti koje donosi primena matematičkog modeliranja tokom projektovanja novog rešenja ili usavršavanja i optimizacije postojećeg objekta. Izloženi su osnovni principi izrade modela bez iznošenja detaljne matematičke interpretacije procesa iz čega sledi da model sadrži veći broj nepoznatih ili orjentaciono poznatih parametara i da nije moguće realizovati model tipa prozirne kibernetičke kutije. Da bi se ostvarila sinteza modela i eksperimentalnih rezultata neophodna je primena optimizacionih metoda za identifikaciju nepoznatih parametara modela. U radu su navedeni eksperimentalni rezultati uporedo sa rezultatima modeliranja i identifikacije kao i analiza postupka identifikacije nepoznatih parametara modela.

В данной работе представлены методы решения системы линейных уравнений с произвольным количеством уравнений и неизвестных, на которых не отражаются перечисленные проблемы. / Rešavanje linearnog sistema jednačina n × n može biti problem i za računar, pogotovo ako je potrebno tačno rešenje, čak i kada je broj jednačina i nepoznat i relativno mali (par hiljada. Sve postojeće metode su opterećene bar jednim od sledećih problema: 1. složenošću računanja izraženim kroz broj potrebnih operacija koje je potrebno izvršiti kako bi se došlo do rešenja; 2. potencijalnom mogućnošću neograničenog rasta veličina među rezultata, što uzrokuje probleme prekoračenja opsega (overflow i nedovoljne osetljivosti odnosno preciznosti (underflow; 3. promenom vrednosti nekih koeficijenata u polaznom sistemu, što uzrokuje nestabilnost rešenja; 4. dodatnim zahtevima, zbog konvergencije; 5. slučajevima velikog broja jednačina i nepoznatih koji zahtevaju da matrica sistema bude: ili slabo popunjena, ili simetrična, ili dijagonalna, itd. �снованных на тех же технологиях, и они одинаково важны как для управления рисками в военных операциях в киберпространстве, так и в области обороны, разведки и международного гуманитарного права. / Procena ranjivosti i testiranje otpornosti na upade u sistem su ključne aktivnosti upravljanja rizikom u informacionoj bezbednosti, sajber odbrani i obaveštajnom radu vojnih organizacija. Ove aktivnosti su značajne u kontekstu izvođenja vojnih operacija, ali i u kontekstu Međunarodnog humanitarnog prava (IHL i sprovođenja zakona. Primena informacionih tehnologija u vojnom i civilnom okruženju povećava kompleksnost u oblasti upravljanja rizikom. Pored informacione bezbednosti, vojne organizacije imaju zadatak da preduzmu neophodne aktivnosti u oblasti sajber operacija, za svrhe odbrane i napada. Oni zavise od znanja i veština zasnovanih na tehnologiji i implementiraju ih specifične organizacije u okviru vojnih sistema. Procena ranjivosti za cilj ima otkrivanje prirode ranjivosti, bez razmatranja kako se one mogu koristiti za napad, dok testiranje otpornosti na upade u sistem koristi eksploite za upade u sisteme i tako procenjuje vrstu i stepen rizika koji ove ranjivosti predstavljaju za sistem. Međutim, čak i ako predstavljaju dve različite aktivnosti, sa različitim krajnjim ciljevima, oni su komplementarni i međuzavisni. Pošto je njihova zajednička odlika razvoj znanja i veština zasnovanih na istim tehnologijama, oni su od podjednake važnosti za upravljanje rizikom, vojne operacije u sajber prostoru i njihovu upotrebu za odbrambene i obaveštajne aktivnosti, kao i međunarodno humanitarno pravo.

zbornika jest i tema vlasništva pojedinog primjerka stare knjige. Upravo tu temu obradio je D. Shaw pod naslovom Tko je bio vlasnik ove knjige? Proučavanje porijekla knjiga u europskim razmjerima. Autor naglašava važnost katalogizacije na temelju pojedinog primjerka jer se jedino tako u kataložnom zapisu mogu zabilježiti sve karakteristike i posebnosti pojedinog primjerka građe. Upravo takav postupak opisa potaknuo je razvoj područja kojim se bavi autor u svome radu - proučavanja porijekla knjige. Važnost proučavanja prethodnih vlasnika jasno se vidi u mogućnosti okupljanja raspršenih knjižnica i privatnih zbirki koje svoju „pripadnost“ određenoj zbirci ponekad mogu dokazati jedino obilježjima vlasnika ili knjižnice kojoj su nekoć pripadali. Osim vlastoručnih potpisa vlasnika i pečata knjižnice, dokazi o prijašnjim vlasnicima mogu se istražiti i uz pomoć signatura, ex librisa, pečata na uvezima itd. Veliku pomoć u toj vrsti istraživanja pruža i Konzorcij europskih knjižnica (CERL koji nudi mrežnu bazu podataka o porijeklu knjiga. Posljednji rad u ovoj cjelini izradila je doktorska studentica M. Tomić pod naslovom Podaci o povijesti primjerka u hrvatskim katalozima stare i rijetke građe. Autorica je prikupila dostupne (tiskane kataloge te je kroz te kataloge i kataložne zapise starih i rijetkih knjiga u online katalozima istražila koliko se bilježe podaci o porijeklu primjerka. U radu su prikazani rezultati spomenutog istraživanja s posebnim osvrtom na podatke o povijesti primjerka ukoliko su (i ako su uopće uključeni u tiskane kataloge stare i rijetke građe u hrvatskim knjižnicama te u online katalozima hrvatskih knjižnica. Dodana vrijednost ovoga rada jest i bibliografija kataloga inkunabula, kataloga knjiga i rukopisa koji se nalaze u muzejskim knjižnicama i crkvenim ustanovama te kataloga izložbi starih i rijetkih knjiga.
