Resumen en español Se muestra, desde una perspectiva holística, que la tríada información-comunicación-conocimiento se encuentra en el centro de la energía y del alcance de las teorías sobre el hombre, y de sus dimensiones de desarrollo tecnológico y práctico. Se establece la vinculación de las teorías de la dialéctica, la física cuántica y la complejidad con el núcleo del pensamiento ancestral del oriente lejano sobre la energía, su carácter único y complementario y su ubi (mas) cación en el centro del hombre, para extraer recomendaciones estratégicas para el desarrollo de los sistemas de información, fundamentalmente para la innovación científica y tecnológica. Resumen en inglés It is showed from a holistic perspective that the information-communication-knowledge triad is in the centre of energy and of the scope of the theories about man, and of its dimensions of practical and technological development. The link of the theories of dialectics, quantum physics and complexity with the nucleus of the ancestral thinking of the Far East on energy, as well as its unique and complementary character and its location in the centre of man is established to (mas) extract strategic recommendations for the development of the information systems, mainly for the technological and scientific innovation.

Resumen en español La relación mente-cerebro es el concepto que intentamos establecer desde la química, la biología y la física cuántica, para llegar a las funciones mentales, para tal efecto nos valemos, entre otras disciplinas, de la del pensamiento complejo (ciencia de la complejidad). De todas formas, nos abocamos con el hecho de cómo el cerebro programa la información. Todos estos fenómenos requieren de una explicación, y luego de una demostración para llegar a la evidencia. Resumen en inglés This paper is a reflection on the mind-brain relationship. The author approaches mental functions beginning with some considerations based on chemistry, biology and quantum physics. With the aid of complex thought (the science of complexity), questions such as how the brain carries out information programming are tackled. It shows how all these phenomena require an explanation to begin with, and then a demonstration that makes them plain.

Los límites del pronóstico newtoniano y la búsqueda del orden en el caos/ The Limits of the Newtonian Forecast and the search of order in the chaos

Resumen en español La mecánica determinista newtoniana sólo puede describir y pronosticar el comportamiento de los sistemas naturales simples y con pocos componentes, aproximadamente el 10% del total de los que conforman la realidad universal conocida hasta ahora; el 90% restante, cuya complejidad y grado de incertidumbre los hace prácticamente inaccesibles a este enfoque, requieren de una nueva visión holística o total, con un acercamiento que incluya conceptos, tanto de la mecánica (mas) clásica de Newton y Descartes, como los emanados de la corriente indeterminista, entre los cuales se encuentran la no linealidad y las secuencias aleatorias, el cálculo de la probabilidad y la estadística, el caos y el orden, la inestabilidad exponencial, la teoría cuántica, los atractores y fractales y la teoría de la información. Resumen en inglés Newtonian deterministic mechanichs can only describe and predict the behavior of simple natural systems with few components, which represent approximately 10% of those conforming the universal reality known until now. The remaining 90%, whose complexity and degree of uncertainty make them practically inaccessible to this approach, require a new holistic or total vision, with an approach that includes concepts of Newton's and Descartes's classical mechanics, as much as tho (mas) se emanated from the indeterministic stream, such as nonlinearity and aleatory sequences, calculus of probability and statistics, chaos and order, exponential instability, quantum Theory, attractors and fractals, and information theory.

Resumen en español La didáctica de las ciencias naturales está cuestionando la transposición de los modelos científicos en modelos didácticos. Otras investigaciones muestran que el conocimiento científico convertido en conocimiento escolar produce deformaciones de la actividad científica y la simplificación de modelos, contribuyendo con la actitud negativa de los estudiantes hacia las ciencias y al fracaso escolar reportado por algunos estudios. Se pregunta si el modelo atómico de (mas) Bohr que se muestra en los textos se corresponde histórica y epistemológicamente con las actividades científicas y cuáles son las posibles deformaciones que de ésta se hace cuando se muestra el modelo en los libros. Los resultados de la investigación muestran una clara diferencia entre la propuesta de Bohr (1913) y la transposición del modelo, lo que invita a una reflexión profunda acerca de la confiabilidad que pueden tener los textos utilizados para la enseñanza de la ciencia química Resumen en inglés Natural science teaching is questioning the transposition that is made of scientific models into didactic models, because research has shown that when scientific knowledge is transformed into scholarly knowledge in order to be taught it causes the deformation of the scientific activity and the simplification of the models. This contributes to the negative attitude of students towards science, and student failure shown in some studies. This research inquired if the transpo (mas) sition of Bohr's atomic model that is shown in textbooks corresponds historically and epistemologically to scientific activity and what the possible deformations are that, coming from this model, are made to the scientific activity that comes from the transposition. The research results show differences between what Bohr (1913) proposed and the transposition of the model in textbooks. This information will contribute to the analysis that is being done regarding the dependability of textbooks.

Cálculo de la concurrencia para el modelo de Heisenberg/ Calculation of concurrence to the Heisenberg model

Resumen en español La concurrencia es una cantidad que nos permite medir el grado de entreveramiento que presenta un sistema cuántico y se puede calcular a partir de la matriz densidad reducida. En este artículo mostramos explicitamente como calcular la concurrencia para una cadena finita de espines s =1/2 descrita por el modelo de Heisenberg anistrópico. Nosotros mostramos que para cadenas finitas la concurrencia tiene un máximo en el punto crítico Δ = 1, la cual es una de las pr (mas) incipales características en el límite termodinámico. Se mostró que es posible obtener información sobre las transiciones de fase del modelo calculando la concurrencia para cadenas de por lo menos 12 sitios Resumen en inglés The concurrence is a quantity that allows us to measure the entanglement of a quantum system and can be calculated from the reduced density matrix. In this paper we show explicitly how to calculate the concurrence for a finite chain of spins s =1/2 described by the anisotropic Heisenberg model. We show that for finite chains the concurrence has a maximum at the critical point Δ = 1, which is the main feature in the thermodynamic limit. We observe that it is possible (mas) to obtain information about quantum phase transitions of the model by calculating the concurrence for chains of at least 12 sites

Resumen en español Varios procedimientos de curación mediante la actividad mental están siendo utilizados, tales como la hipnosis, la biorretroalimentación, la meditación, las visualizaciones, el manejo de las emociones y la oración. Desde la Gran Explosión (Big Bang) estamos entrelazados con todo. Esta interacción existente entre todas las cosas permitiría que los individuos puedan interactuar con las mentes y cuerpos de otras personas. El campo de la investigación parapsicológic (mas) a ha conducido al estudio de eventos significativos tales como la aparición y comunicación de seres ya fallecidos, las experiencias cercanas a la muerte y las experiencias fuera del cuerpo. Luce evidente que la conciencia puede persistir en ausencia de la función cerebral. Si se acepta el modelo que asume que es la conciencia y no la materia la base de todo cuanto existe, lo que sobrevive es el espíritu o “mónada cuántica”. Se afirma que las curaciones espirituales son realizadas por médicos desencarnados, quienes diagnostican y prescriben tratamientos que generalmente corresponden a los de la medicina convencional pero, con cierta frecuencia, utilizan también procedimientos desconocidos por la medicina moderna, basados en el manejo de campos energéticos que apenas están siendo estudiados por la física. Casos emblemáticos del ejercicio de la medicina espiritual lo representaron los médiums Ze Arigo, George Chapman y Bárbara Guerrero (Pachita) y actualmente el médium brasileño Juan de Dios. El reporte de casos de fenómenos paranormales es muy importante para el avance de la parapsicología, porque no está claramente establecida cual aproximación, la cualitativa o la cuantitativa, es mejor para la comprensión y el desarrollo en este campo. Resumen en inglés Evidence regarding the influence of the mind on the body is abundant. Several mind-body healing procedures are currently being used, among them hypnosis, biofeedback, meditation, visualizations, management of emotions and prayer. Since the Big Bang, we are entangled with everything. This interaction would let individuals to communicate with the minds and bodies of others. The field of parapsychological research has provided a lot of information about significant events, i (mas) ncluding apparitions, communications with the dead, near-death experiences and out of the body experiences. It looks apparently evident, that consciousness can persist in the absence of brain function. According to the model that assumes that it is consciousness and not matter, the base of everything that exists, what survives after death is the “quantum monad” or spirit. It is said that spiritual cures are practiced by discarnate physicians who diagnose and prescribe conventional treatments, but very often they use unknown procedures based on the management of energy fields that are currently being studied by many physicists. Representative examples of the practice of spiritual medicine were the mediums Ze Arigo, George Chapman, Barbara Guerrero (Pachita) and presently the Brazilian medium John of God. Case reports of paranormal phenomena observed and studied by honest and serious scientists are very important for the advancement of parapsychology, because it has not been clearly established which approach, the qualitative or the quantitative, is more useful for the development of this field.
