Computadora de Vuelo Triplex de Diseño y Manufactura Mexicana para el Microsatélite Satex/ Mexican-Designed and Manufactured Triplex Flight Computer for the Satex Microsatellite

Resumen en español Este trabajo describe la arquitectura diseñada y fabricada para la computadora de vuelo (CV) del microsatélite experimental Satex (MES) la cual utiliza un sistema triplex de procesadores que se basa en una tarjeta de procesamiento principal y dos refacciones completas de respaldo. La CV está compuesta por seis circuitos impresos, cada uno con componentes de montaje superficial ensamblados en ambas caras de los tabloides para reducir el número de tarjetas y por tanto s (mas) u peso. La mayor parte de los componentes utilizados son de calificación militar, sólo los procesadores son de tipo industrial con rango de temperatura extendida por lo cual se le agregan protecciones electrónicas contra radiación. Se ofrecen las características globales de la computadora, sus procesos de validación y resultados de confiabilidad operativa obtenidos con la norma militar MIL-HDBK217f Resumen en inglés This work describes the architecture designed and manufactured for the flight computer (FC) of the Satex experimental microsatellite (MES) which employs a triplex processor system based on a main microcomputer card and two complete cold stand-by spares. The FC is composed by six printed circuit boards, each one with surface-mount electronic parts assembled on both of its faces to reduce the amount of required hardware and therefore its weight. Most of the electronic compo (mas) nents employed are of military specification; only the processors are industrial-type with extended temperature range and electronic protection against cosmic radiation. The overall characteristics of the computer, its validation processes, and reliability data obtained with the military norm MIL-HDBK217f are also presented
