Caracterización de catalizadores de hierro y cobalto soportados sobre sílice sintetizados en  ambiente ácido y básico

Resumen en español Catalizadores de hierro y cobalto soportados sobre sílice aerosil 200 fueron preparados a pH = 5 y pH = 11 con la finalidad de establecer la influencia de este parámetro sobre la composición química y estructural de los catalizadores. Las pruebas de caracterización realizadas por espectroscopia infrarrojo FT sugieren que los catalizadores de cobalto sintetizados a pH = 11 presentan dos fases hidroxiladas que reaccionan entre sí para dar lugar a compuestos tipo filos (mas) ilicatos de cobalto, mientras aquellos preparados a pH = 5 presentan una sola fase hidroxilada y constituyen un catalizador soportado. En el caso del hierro la formación de las fases hidroxiladas es independiente del pH. Los resultados de análisis termogravimétrico (ATG) sobre los catalizadores de cobalto sintetizados a pH = 11 sugieren la presencia de fuertes interacciones metal-soporte por efecto del pH. Resumen en inglés Iron and cobalt catalysts supported on aerosil 200 silica were prepared at pH = 5 and pH = 11 with the purpose of establishing the influence of this parameter on the structural and chemical composition of the catalysts. Characterization tests performed by FT infrared spectroscopy suggest that the cobalt catalysts synthesized at pH = 11 exhibit two hydroxylated phases that react in between them to yield cobalt filosilicate compounds, while those prepared at pH = 5 exhibit (mas) only one hydroxylated phase and constitute a supported catalyst. In the iron case the formation of the hydroxylated phases is pH independent. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) results on the cobalt catalysts synthesized at pH = 11 suggest the presence of strong metal-support interactions due to a pH effect.

Resumen en inglés The electrochemical behaviour of five different complexes of cobalt with 2,4-bis(trimethylsilylethynyl)thiophene was studied, concluding that the presence of aromatic ligands gives rise to electronic communication effects that allow to define them as molecular wires. The stability of the compounds and of the products of oxidative and reductive charge transfers increases at a temperature of -30 °C.
