  2. Comparison of Four Narrations of Leili and Majnoon Nezami, Amirkhosro, Jami and Maktabi

    A Shoghi Novbar

    2009-03-01

Full Text Available "Leili and Majnoon" written by Nezami (584 A.H. is among the romantic masterpieces in the Persian Literature which up to 57 parody tellers have worked on it. In this article, from among these parodies three closest narrations to Nezami's work have been selected. These were, chronologically, composed by Amirkhosro Dehlavi (698 A.H., Abdolrahman Jami (889 A.H. and Maktabi Shirazi (895 A.H.. We also describe the story of each narration and briefly present their plot similarities and differences by means of 29 story motifs in a chart and, then, we would analyze and compare them with Nezami's narration in detail. These considerations indicate that after Nezami, the conformists have not been so bound to the origin of narration. In fact, they have changed the origin of story, and meanwhile, present their verbal art. These changes have been mostly exemplified in Jami's narration and then Amirkhosro's work. Maktabi Shirazi has kept all actions of Nezami's narration however he has increased a few new scenes to the narration.

  4. A Theory about Relating Noofel to Ayyār and Fetyān’s Group in Leili and Mjnoon

    2014-08-01

Full Text Available Abstract Ayyār that named with some other titles like Feta, Javanmard and Akhi is one of the most important and impressive motives of Iran’s history. Maybe the forming time of Ayyār goes back to Sassanid age or before this era. The word of Ayyār likes the other resembling its samples has two different meanings (good and bad. In awful, means thief, pitiless and…, in good meaning is a generous, kind and brave person who helps people in problems. Ayyāri as a social movement from preIslamic period to after this time have passed very different conditions and its rituals extended into many literary and unliterary materials and in literary materials have been considered in two processes (epic texts and mystical instructions called Fotowatname. Ayyāri customs and beliefs divided into parts of moral principles and abilities. Using these customs and beliefs, this paper has attempted to prove that Noofel in Leili va Mjnoon is an Ayyār. Leili va Mjnoon is a description of love between Qeis, son of Amer, and Leili but Arabic fanaticism made obstacles between them. At last Leili’s father made her marry to another person named ‘Ibn Salam’, and Qeis didn’t get married until his death. Before Ebn Salam’s marriage, Noofel endeavored to help Qeis by fighting against Leili’s father tribe but finally abandoning from this deed. In the end, Leili died and afterwards Majnoon died beside her grave. Many researchers studied Leili va Mjnoon though neither of them didn’t pay attention to Noofel's character and his deeds, so if students ask any question about it, we don’t have any suitable answer to prove that Noofel is an Ayyār. This necessity leads to prove this theory. In Leili va Mjnoon, Nezami introduced Noofel character with qualified Ayyāri adjectives: Kindness, being experienced and courageous, a wealthy person who didn’t steal. Noofel swore to help Mjnoon even this action ended to his death. In this process, Noofel didn’t have any

The Kaali impact field consists of nine identified craters located on the Saaremaa Island in Estonia. The largest crater is 110 m in diameter (centered around 58°22'21.94"N, 22°40'09.91" E). It was formed by impact of an IAB iron meteoroid into Silurian dolomite target rocks covered by up to a few meters of glacial till (Veski et al. 2007). The age of the Kaali impact structure is still a matter of debate, and the estimates provided by different authors vary considerably between ~6400 BC (Raukas et al. 1995, Moora et al. 2012) and ~400 BC (Rasmussen et al. 2000, Veski et al. 2001). These ages were derived by 14C dating of marker horizons, characterized by a slightly elevated iridium content within the nearby Piila bog yielding a calibrated age of 800-400 BC (Rasmussen et al. 2000, Veski et al. 2001) and occurrences of glassy siliceous material in the Piila bog (~6400 BC: Raukas et al. 1995) or iron microspherules in an organic-rich layer of the Reo gravel pit (6400 BC: Moora et al. 2012). However, the source of the foreign material within those layers was never unequivocally connected with the Kaali crater. 14C dating of material from post-impact organic sediments within Kaali impact craters yielded ages between 1800-1500 BC (Saarse et al. 1991, Veski et al. 2004) and 1450-400 BC (Aaloe et al. 1963). These dates underestimate the age of impact as organic sediments within the crater started to form at unknown period after the impact. On the other hand, Veski et al. (2004) suggested a reservoir effect that might have caused artificially "aging" of the organic matter because the crater was emplaced within Silurian dolomite which is rich in old carbon. The aim of this study is to determine the age of the Kaali crater by 14C dating of organic material covered by the continuous layer of proximal ejecta. This research was conducted in conjunction with a new structural investigation of Kaali Main (Zanetti et al. 2015). Ten samples collected from different locations

I'll discuss a number of topics that represent our efforts in developing reliable molecular models for describing chemical and physical processes involving biomembranes. This is an exciting yet challenging research area because of the multiple length and time scales that are present in the relevant problems. Accordingly, we attempt to (1) understand the value and limitation of popular coarse-grained (CG) models for lipid membranes with either a particle or continuum representation; (2) develop new CG models that are appropriate for the particular problem of interest. As specific examples, I'll discuss (1) a comparison of atomistic, MARTINI (a particle based CG model) and continuum descriptions of a membrane fusion pore; (2) the development of a modified MARTINI model (BMW-MARTINI) that features a reliable description of membrane/water interfacial electrostatics and its application to cell-penetration peptides and membrane-bending proteins. Motivated specifically by the recent studies of Wong and co-workers, we compare the self-assembly behaviors of lipids with cationic peptides that include either Arg residues or a combination of Lys and hydrophobic residues; in particular, we attempt to reveal factors that stabilize the cubic ``double diamond'' Pn3m phase over the inverted hexagonal HII phase. For example, to explicitly test the importance of the bidentate hydrogen-bonding capability of Arg to the stabilization of negative Gaussian curvature, we also compare results using variants of the BMW-MARTINI model that treat the side chain of Arg with different levels of details. Collectively, the results suggest that both the bidentate feature of Arg and the overall electrostatic properties of cationic peptides are important to the self-assembly behavior of these peptides with lipids. The results are expected to have general implications to the mechanism of peptides and proteins that stimulate pore formation in biomembranes. Work in collaboration with Zhe Wu, Leili Zhang

Relatively large errors in the estimated terminal grain size permits only to conclude that it is in line with previously reconstructed water depth constrained by the maximum possible duration of the lake ice cover. Materials and methods: Seventy-two specimens (n=72 were prepared using a nanoparticle resin and stored in artificial saliva at 37 ± 1°C for 24 h. After this period, the specimens (n=24 were restored with microhybrid resin P60 (3M ESPE, nanoparticle resin Filtek Z350 (3M ESPE, and Bulk Fill Surefil SDR Flow (Dentsply composite resins. Previously, the surfaces of the samples were treated, forming the following subgroups (n=12: (A conditioned with 37% phosphoric acid for 30 s, and (B abrasioned with a diamond tip for 3 s and conditioned with 37% phosphoric acid. In all groups, before insertion of the composite resin, the adhesive system Adper Single Bond 2 was actively applied and photopolymerized for 20 s. Results: The microshear test was executed to assess bond strength. Kruskal–Wallis (p<0.05 and Mann–Whitney statistical tests showed significant statistical difference considering that the bulk-fill resin turned out to have a lower bond strength than the conventional nanoparticle and microhybrid composites. With regard to the technique, the roughening with diamond bur followed by the application of phosphoric acid exhibited values higher than the exclusive use of acid. Conclusion: The microshear bond strength of the composite resin repairs varies in accordance with the type of composite resin utilized, and roughening the surface increased the bond strength of these materials. In this issue it is published 4 notes for Editor, 14 articles, 1 book review. And this time, 43 authors from 10 different countries are placed. These published articles are from Austrlia, Bangldesh, India, lndonasia, Iran, Malaysia. Pakistan, Serbia, Turkey and USA.The first Notes for editor arrived from USA, written by Kevin YEE and Jace HARGIS. They focused on Google Moderator and Other Clicker Alternatives. In their notes they mentioned that Students register the device on the company Web site, and the instructor synchronizes the database in order to know which students have registered devices, thus creating accountability for “quizzes” in class. During the lecture, students “vote” for multiple choice answers on screen, and real-time results are displayed (anonymously after the polling is finished, providing instant formative feedback. Another model is for a department or institution to purchase clickers and make available in the classroom. Students pick up the clicker as they enter the room each day and replace when exiting. Using this approach does not allow for direct accountability, unless students are registered to a specific number on the clicker, which is documented and tracked. The second notes for editor is titled as “The Effect Of Virtual Versus Traditional Learning In Achieving Competency-Based Skills” which is written by Leili MOSALANEJAD, Sakine SHAHSAVARI and Mehdi DASTPAK from IRAN. In this quasi-experimental study, 86 freshman nursing students were recruited. Nursing Fundamentals and Skills (including theoretical and practical credits was decided as the teaching course. The theory and practical contents were taught in one group by conventional method (face to face teaching, demonstration on moulage and for another
